I use the same knot, but I don't reel it through the guides, so use a shorter leader.

@TeamRedHook No scent needed. They have shrimp enzymes baked into the lures.
@TeamRedHook 7'6" or 7'9" Flats Blue rod . . . depends if you like a longer or shorter rod, and if you are targeting bigger fish go with the longer rod. FINS WIndtamer is the most popular style, but FINS XS is pretty neat stuff. BRAID IN THE USA, BABY!

Hey Blair, let me start off by saying how much I love the show! Got a question for ya, what knot do you use to tie your fluoro to your braid? I'm from Jacksonville and and do a lot of inshore light tackle kayak fishing and tie the double uni and I notice that when casting the knot tends to hung up or rub on the tip of the rod eventually causing the fluoro to frey. Could use some expert advice!! Thanks Cap!!

Just to let people know, if you need to handle a jack crevalle press the black spot on each side of its gill plate and it will go in a tonic state. makes handling them much easier.

@MrLukespo1 i know im not who u expected but i live in mayport which is about 2 miles away from jacksonville anyway u can catch Red Drum,Black Drum,Bluefish,Flounder,Spotted Seatrout,Atlantic Croaker,Jack Crevalle,Amberjack,Spanish Mackeral,Red Snapper,Yellowtail Snapper,Gag Grouper,Black Sea Bass,Ringtail Porgy,Whitetip Reef Shark,Lemon Shark,Sheepshead,Cobia and soooooooooooo many more.
Blair, what's with the Eagle Claw rods I saw at Dicks Sporting Goods? I couldn't find the W&M signature series rods just the Eagle Claw ones. Which are you using now?
