    Cancelling a trip is not abuse, it's punishment. The wife needs to re-educate herself on what "abuse" means and is before she dares throws it around aimlessly.

      Yea I feel like the kid is like trying to make the step dad look bad. You know how people just have this assumption on how all step parents are bad (and some are really bad, but this one I don’t think is bad). But it feels like the kid is just trying to make the step dad angry and posting it on social media so his friends and family can also hate the dad.

    • @Aerodil

      @@ningen6392 which sucks for the step dad. He's trying to maintain life in the world and this brat comes in and knew dang well what he did. He knew the bleach ruined those plants, yet had a tantrum like a baby.
      If they act like a toddler, treat them like a toddler. Don't give in to them, put them in a corner and remove any object or activity they are fond of. They screw up so bad, no video games, or no friends, you get the picture.

      It may be because more women vent on social media platforms, but the trend is usually men taking advantage of women in every way, even financially. We're used to the term "gold digger" to mean a woman using a man to better her life, but equality has evened out that playing field, it seems. There's also such a thing as a "post-nup" which would be an option, but they seem to cause more trouble than they prevent.

    Honestly, Sean definitely deserved it. I'm pretty sure the parent made take down the vid and he still has it on his phone for him to still laugh at. I think the mom shares some blame too because obviously they both share the same mentality when it comes to doing something wrong. Pretty big step to call him abusive just because he basically showed his son that his actions do have consequences and don't go away with a simple "sorry".

    The second story really makes my blood boil for the woman in the marriage like whut he didn't want to take the risk of sharing her debts but he does want to share when she has a lot of money. Sounds like money is more important than his wife... His family should also not mingle with the situation like it is none of your business. I hope the wife didn't give in to letting the prenup be voided and if he keeps on taunting her with it she really should leave. Like he even called her names. She is his wife show some damn respect jeezzz.

  • @wafflebean9828
    @wafflebean9828 2 ปีที่แล้ว +182

    For the first story: actions have consequences. The son did a bad action, and got a consequence for it. And for the mom, she claims he doesn't respect her as a parent, BUT NEITHER DOES SHE! She doesn't respect his judgement, but expect hers to be respected. And discipline DOES NOT equal abuse. I hate how she has the audacity to claim a child getting a trip canceled in response to bad actions, is the same as *ACTUAL CHILD ABUSE!* The son deserved the canceled trip, and that woman needs to learn the parenting basics again. I can't omg-

    The first one: I won't expect that from a 16 year old. Sean is a grown teenager and must understand how much a plant means to a person who cares for it. A plant is like the father's own child. Putting in bleach water is like poisoning a real person. A plant is a living thing and it hurts to see it in pain. Having a mother who has the same hobby, I understand how it feels like if someone ruins something about their plant. It was really inconsiderate of Sean to do something like that. You can't just murder a person on purpose and say sorry and expect people to forgive you. If you make a mistake, you need to deal with the consequences. Putting bleach in water and watering the plants with it is going too far. You need to know your limits. You should not hurt someone in the process of pranking, and if you do, face the consequences.

    That Sean story completely irked me. I don’t want to trauma dump but I could look at my dad wrong, and get my head punched through dry wall. The punishment was too light imo, so I dont get why the wife is making such a fuzz. He isnt eating correctly because you canceled a trip?? Aww poor baby :((( such a spoiled drama queen. Grow up dude. Nothing abusive abt such a light punishment. Plants are wonderful living organisms. Bleaching them is like if someone were to put us in a room full of fire to let us die in there. That's like if I asked my step-grandson to feed my fish in my turtle and he was mad at me for something and decided to give them bleach in their water yeah he would lose everything for 2 weeks at least minimum and he would have to write me a a three paragraph paper about why he did it and it won't why it's wrong to do things like that he's 11 years old so I think that's an appropriate punishment for an 11 year old but wow the maliciousness that child in the story showed killing the plants because he was angry at the father/stepfather I'm not sure that's a disturbing kind of behavior what's next he's going to move on just killing small animals psychopathic tendencies thank you very much. Sorry, your intentions are good but your view is a little flawed, you don’t have to be an abuse victim in order to see if something can be considered abuse or not, plants can be therapeutic to some people and are just beautiful and wonderful beings, just destroying and killing them with bleach was stupid and childish af because not only did it probably kill the plants (hopefully not, but could be severely damaging to the plants) but also it was because the child wanted to keep a video of them completely humiliating their parent…
      If that kid got to go to the national park after that then they would just think that their actions don’t matter, that they can do anything to other people and just get away with it with no repercussions

After he turns 18, no one can excuse him for a child.

    Related to second story I think she should stick to the prenup. When she didn't make much he was worried for his money. Now she makes more she should also guard her money. It is her right.

    Prenup one....Woman you make 3 times more than your husband so if you two get divorce you would be the one paying alimony to your husband, 50% of your properties if you nullify the prenup. I find this new behavior of your husband fishy. By the way, where were those relatives of yours when your husband proposed the idea of prenup? Bunch of hypocrites I say.
    In a nutshell, DO NOT CANCEL YOUR PRENUP.

    If I was Sean's parent and he did that to my plants (I love my plants almost as much as this man does), Sean wouldn't have been alive and breathing anymore..
    Maybe I shouldn't have a kid after all.

      @misachitachibana7214 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Plssss lmao, I'm sure with the kind of person I am my child would definitely not do something like that, I was raised with respect and my child will also be raised with respect. Sean's mother has no respect and is completely illogical, it annoys the heck out of me, that's why her son is like that. She'll have to face the music when he gets older.

    1st story: i don't think his wife understands what abuse is. Op is just punching the 16 year old for something he did. Also, the son doesn't sound 16. At should know better at this point lol.

  • @nina-wb4vu
    @nina-wb4vu 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    the second story was literally so stupid, The husband made the contract thinking he made more than her so he doesnt wanna share his finances with the wife just because he thinks shes making less than him, AND NOW THAT THE WIFE MAKES MORE THAN HIM he wants to end the contract. This is unfair for the wife, i would divorce with this man immediately for acting like this towards his s/o

    1) Great on the dad's part for canceling the trip. It's obviously the mom's fault for allowing that kind of mindset in the teen's life at all. The second you even think that way half-assed, all apologies mean nothing anymore, and no one can believe nor accept an apology from you again. The mom definitely set him up for a hard and lonely life.
    2)I don't care what anyone says, if you get a prenup for your financial safety and suddenly want to void it because of how your S/O obtained a luxury car, that's SUS to me!! And for the man to get the family involved in something he probably came up with by himself is ridiculous and greedy. I hope she already took the proper steps to making sure that she's safe financially and otherwise.

      Hello. I have a comment regarding story 1. The “dad” was in the wrong. At everything can be fixed with an apology, that’s a true statement. He does need to learn that as well, but I think canceling that trip was too much. He’s the STEP-dad so I don’t think he has the authority to cancel the trip, it’s not his son, it’s her son.

  • @anonymousina9210
    @anonymousina9210 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    How is cancelling a trip called abuse? 💀 that is just ridiculous... abuse is basically hurting them, it is a punishment... is the wife don't know what abuse is? A kid should not be praised for this, apology ain't enough... he'll do it again, he need to learn that it is wrong, the mom is spoiling him too much... I am 16 as well and if my parents ever caught me doing anything like this, they'll probably take my device away

  • @seiniboo
    @seiniboo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    For the plant one, the wife needs to re educate herself about what abuse means. The father did the right thing like he's a 16 year old, he's old enough to realize you can't get away from your deeds with a simple apology. If he's rlly that desperate for the trip i think the father should give him a punishment like he needs to grow the plants all by himself again with no help of either his mom or dad, that'll teach him that how he hard it is to grow and take care of plants

    • @breeanareads3799
      @breeanareads3799 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! So the wife really does need to educate herself on what Abuse is. However, the husband didn’t do the right thing. In my opinion he went too far. Also: he’s literally the STEP-dad so I don’t think he has the authority to cancel the trip.
