@@wendy7723 yes, you are correct. When cutting an onion, a chemical irritant is released and thus inadvertently irritatws the eyes. Utilizing a sharp knife - accompanied with good knife skills - will decrease exposure to the chemical/tears
The person cutting the onions in the video is either crying behind the camera, used to it, or is wearing a goggle. Props to onion cutters!

I don't think he's crying cuz it's gotta damage his eyes if he cries every time he shops some onion, he probably be using some kind of goggles or it may be that kind of onion that don't release a very strong chemical irritant so it doesn't make you cry.

중국집에서 쓰는양파가 현재 2배이상 단가가 오른상태입니다. 보통 양파단가가오르면 양배추를많이넣어서 요리를하실텐데 양파만 넣는다는건 정말 대단하네요
