I met Radney and Lloyd both at a gig in Pittsburgh. It was called graffiti. It was a very intimate club and they were fantastic. I talked to both of them and I really enjoyed it. I played in a van from that town that was reasonably successful and got to open up for many country stars all over the place. But Bradley Foster was woman the biggest influences of the songwriter and singer that I enjoyed the most. del Rio album with super. But one of my favorite songs that he and Lloyd used to do was called "till the heartach rolls in" It never went as big as it should have. It was a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned. whatever recording the captured the magic on that one. I've always found it hard to record songs and they never sound right to me. But his is perfect That cut is perfect. They got it down on tape. What an artist he is but I never got a chance to open up for him though.
Radney still killing it! Only a few artists can stand up alone on stage with an acoustic guitar and put on a great show, and even fewer can still do it in their 60's.
JUST CALL ME LONESOME!! Radney foster can sing it the same yes!! here in the UK singers and bands that are British do a good version of this but it doesn't sound the same when an English fellow sings this! no afence to my own country men/fellows/ but take note!
