This can be used with multiple layers but i would recommend buying a -20 degrees or atleast -15 degrees jacket if the temperature is definitely gonna go below -20

You can buy a jacket which has -5 degrees Temperature protection for Sandakphu Trek and add two layers inside it however if you want to do more treks in future it's better to invest in a -10 degrees jacket .

This is a padded jacket and gives u much better protection (-10 degrees ) than a down jacket..I would any day prefer padded wind and water proof jacket over fragile down jackets.

December will be cold.in Kashmir..i am not sure how warm your puffer jacket is but this jacket along with two inner layers will keep you warm in Kashmir..if you have a good warm jacket then you can add two inner layers like fleece and sweater then you are good to go with that
I got this jacket as birthday gift from my wife and I returned it. It's a very good jacket for treks but I feel it's not foldable and may take larger space in backpack. What do you feel? Can you pack this in small size? Please suggest. I really liked the jacket and wish to have one..but confused..
Hi..Yes it's meant for Treks but you can wear it in cities during winters as well..As far as folding it is concerned I always carry this in my backpack by pushing it roughly inside the bag at the top of everything so that I can quickly take it out whenever required..to be honest it does take some space but not as much that you will not be able to pack other things..it's a good investment which will help you on your trips to mountains 🙂

Yes Bro this is a 100% water proof and windproof jacket...having said that ,you can't replace this with a raincoat since it is a jacket and not a rain cover so buy accordingly. If you are looking for a water proof jacket and not rain cover then go ahead and buy this one..it won't disappoint you

Do we need to wear a down jacket before this on EBC trek ?
Hi..You need to add atleast one T shirt and two fleece under this jacket for a trek like EBC..adding a down jacket is optional because it will be expensive and you should avoid spending on expensive down jackets. fleece are quite cheap in comparison so buy that..I have created a video on my channel on fleece you can check that out.

Hi Nikhil Bro.. Yes winter jackets are usually a little large in size as you have to wear one extra layer of T -shirt or Fleece inside the jacket.
Although if it feels too big then I would suggest you to exchange it with 'Medium' size and compare which one is more comfortable for you. 🙂

Its can stand heavy rain for a few hours but this is a trekking jacket meant for cold weather conditions. If you are looking for rain proof jacket just for bike riding then i would suggest you buy a light cycling/bike riding water proof and wind proof jacket from Decathlon.

Is the jacket foldable into its pocket?
You can fold the jacket inside and convert into a ball size shape but it doesn't fold into its pockets because it a thick jacket and not light as a down jacket

Jitender Bro I believe MH100 has been discontinued by Decathlon here in India as I don't see it on their website and their offline store.
There is another MH100 model shoes for Rs3500 available on their site and it looks different but has the same features as the old MH100
