They are really behind in the financial systems here in the USA, you will be surprised. The United states doesn't have a lot of financial and credit systems that SA and the rest of Africa is using. I personally even found the banking and fund transfer technology way advanced in South Africa than here in the USA. I mean this is a country that still uses cheques and their cell phone banking doesn't offer the "notify me" text option. Someone could be using your banking details to shop and you would not even have an idea unless you check your statement.
Looks like it’s the same everywhere 😂. If my investments do what they are supposed to do in the next 2-5 years I’ll attempt to buy some property in South Africa.
One thing for you to know is that South African cities are seasonal. And then dont underestimate the smaller but lovely rural towns like Knysna and Plett
“Load shedding” I think it’s just a fancy way of saying “Black out” 😂 Yes, black outs or “outages” are normal here in the USA as well - mainly if there’s a Tropical storm or as someone running into a light pole.
I live in South Africa, we have loadshedding and blackouts, they are not the same. Loadshedding is a scheduled power outage for your area for a few hours on various intervals throughout the day, it is planned power cuts on a schedule because Eskom (the country's power supplier) cannot supply sufficient power to cover the country's demands, this is because the money was spent by the big shot CEOs of Eskom to line their pockets instead of creating more power generators. Very big difference between loadshedding and power outages.

Just a little disclaimer that most people wouldn't recommend filming around this area because there is a lot of phone jacking and pickpocketing that takes place there especially by the gautrain station
thanx for the video!👌
Very cool video Bro !! Thank you from a Capetonian !! 😁❤
If you are still in the Sandton area, hit me up and I will invite you around for a South African Braai (Barbecue). I love entertaining and especially showing foreigners some South African hospitality. You are welcome to make a video..... Hit me up if you want to join us
Can I join😃
Cool
Wow, so uber is American but we the 1st to get the credit system before y'all?
They are really behind in the financial systems here in the USA, you will be surprised. The United states doesn't have a lot of financial and credit systems that SA and the rest of Africa is using. I personally even found the banking and fund transfer technology way advanced in South Africa than here in the USA. I mean this is a country that still uses cheques and their cell phone banking doesn't offer the "notify me" text option. Someone could be using your banking details to shop and you would not even have an idea unless you check your statement.
Let me just say I completely understand why you got distracted between 10:08 and 10:12 bro 😂😂😂
😂😂🙌🏼
Santon, the richest square mile in Africa
Quite scary to think, just 15km down the road from this location is an informal settlement that's twice the size of Sandton and Rivonia combined
Sandton is big though, it stretches to fourways, douglasdale and even Linbro park or modderfontein.
Alex is very densely populated, but still smaller than Sandton
@@Philasande_Shange don't forget about the bohemoth that is Diepsloot
@@CrashBandiii still way smaller than Sandton
why are u lying
You were walking pass US consolate complex you didnt even see the US Flag and US guards opposite the Discovery building.

Lol yeah. Maybe he's not a petrol head
He's definitely not a petrolhead
Durban South African here.. I lived in South Africa and never been to Jo burg...
Looks like it’s the same everywhere 😂. If my investments do what they are supposed to do in the next 2-5 years I’ll attempt to buy some property in South Africa.
Sandton does experience loadshedding as well haha
One thing for you to know is that South African cities are seasonal. Joburg the place to be around throughout the year but Cape Town is the place to be during the festive season when the city is packed with peeps from around the world. And then dont underestimate the smaller but lovely rural towns like Knysna and Plett
Ajtk johni bhai gold business kata hai
I just saw myself 😂😂😂
@@TheRottenPumpkin o okay. Thank you for clarifying that for me. I appreciate this information.
@@iamsharlalakay In the past 21 years, our power utility company Eskom was voted the best in the world, in 2001. Our government is working tirelessly to make it the best once again, in a period of roughly 18 months.
@@benambrose8324 Thank you for sharing that with me. I hope one day it’ll all work out.
@@benambrose8324 man why you lying
Just across the street is the reality that most South Africans have to live with.
