Enjoy part 4 of 4 from a discussion with Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo from the recent 2014-2015 Christmas Symposium held at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat Bahamas. The text she is referencing on mind training, called lojong in Tibetan, was brought to Tibet by Atisha in the 11th century.
Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo practiced under the 8th Khamtrul Rinpoche and became one of the first Westerners to be ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist nun. She founded the Dongyu Gatsal Ling Nunnery. In February 2008 Tenzin Palmo was given the rare title of Jetsunma (Venerable Master), by His Holiness the 12th Gualwang Drukpa, Head of the Drukpa Kagyu lineage in recognition of her spiritual achievements as a nun and her efforts in promoting the status of female practitioners in Tibetan Buddhism. www.tenzinpalmo.com

Humility ,coming back to NOW in awareness .
Magnificent statement we all need to hear a good teacher points out our flawes and gives correctly the advice to overcome our flaws pur waisted energy,our time wrong application otherwise disaster waisted years, difficuilities accidents ,injury and lack of insight compounding sufferring ,so we need good teachers ,imperfections in life ,cause the problems,mistakes we make cost us dearly.
Happiness sounds and feels so superficial ,I love you ...yes but sometimes this love will cause others to hurt ,to repent to acknowledge their faults as I must

I hope to do as she does. I've been so self centered based in self pity for so much of my life. Kicking that little Mr. Snot right out the door! It's a subtle little bugger, but if it takes many lifetimes, so long as I'm practicing I'll gladly come back until we are all free. Kinda scary to say it since how am I to know how the karma I have thusly accrued will result. Best to stay on the Path! ❤

See what a spiritual trip is ,the higher powers like a fantasising child wanting to be special and gain attention
There is only negative karma in duality surely ,whose to say ,should a baby be not angry with abusive parents ,be traumatised and later have to rediscover those feelings ,is even war sometimes justifiable who knows ?
