Hi Bingo and Binew, Kah Hsiung got to be one of my favorite cities in Taiwan i'm so jealous right now and the heart warming feeling you get from the people in Taiwan is the exactly the way i feel about Taiwan, their hospitality is always top notch no matter where you are in the country. I've been wondering where you guys are up to after your trip in Manila and it really surprise me to see you ended up in Kao Hsiung cause i'm heading to Kah Hsiung in Dec with my family before landing in KL. my wife is Taiwanese so there you go ;) Yes Bubble Teas are everywhere and Kao Hsiung city is so walkable.
@@derekhon-t3u Hi Derek! 👋🏽 We love that you love Taiwan and that your wife is Taiwanese - she must know all the best parts of it! 😍 How long will you be in Kaohsiung for? You and your family are going to have such a great time! 😊
@@BingoandBinew Not long just for a week. If you're into fresh seafood, black sand beach, local culture, cycling, light house and beautiful scenery overlooking Kao Hsiung harbour from a distance definitely check out Cijin Island, you guys will love it there! You need to catch a ferry to Cijin island just a 15 - 20 mins ride to Cijin departing from Gushan ferry Pier.
@@BingoandBinew Just one week this time around not long at all. Have you guys checked out Cijin Island? If you're into fresh seafood, black sand beaches, breathtaking sculpture trails by the beach, family bike riding, light house and history and a stunning view overlooking Kao Hsiung city harbour from a distance, this is the place to be. You can catch a ferry to Cijin at the Gushan Ferry Pier, the whole ferry ride will only take about 20 - 25 mins super easy to commute and lots to see and explore. You guys will love it there!
@ All of that sounds so stunning, and very much what we would love! We unfortunately did not go this time, but definitely adding it to our list for next time! 😊 You’re going to have a wonderful week there! 🤗
hi Jon thats chinese Buddhist observing "Hungry Ghosts Month" offering " paper gold money" to the deceased so that the souls of the deceased would not go " Hungry" or in this case "Pennyless" hehe or they may offer burning incense or paper money to the "lord of the land" " Tu Di Kong" for material blessing and good business
What are the best things to do in Kaohsiung?
