i m thinking, it's often the great composition whose are unknow in the mass of video on youtube and, the poor realisation have more visibility. So, nice track, have a nice day
very nice jam mate, i really love the sound of the S-1. One of the little synths i'd like to buy still but since the prophet x it just seems stupid to buy any synth anymore. But still... the S-1 sounds fantastic! Great work
This is very nice! I just bought the T8 and the J6. Trying to watch as much videos to learn everything about these small wonderful devices. I really love your baseline starting @2:43. Is it 1 64 step loop? It sounds longer... And what other devices do you use to change the patterns? Keep up the good work!
Very cool! Would you recommend the t8 as a first drum synth? I mainly use the drums within ableton but searching for a fun drum machine to play around with! I mainly use the tr909 or 807 drums
Wow! Really nice music! Thank you Im still learning to use Aira Compact with other gears. What is the signal chain here? How do you sync them all together? How do you manage stereo output from those gears into the recorder? Thank you
Thank you very much! This setup is quite simple. The audio output from the T-8 goes to the audio input of the S-1. The same is with the midi connection for synching. The Audio output S-1 then goes into my audio interface input (Audient EVO 16). Sometimes I leave the interface out and do direct recording into my Zoom H2n.
@@bilozone_music Yes. MIDI Volume is used to remotely control the output level of a MIDI device, which is essential for automated mixing. Grab a copy of the MIDI specification and read up
I keep watching videos of these little rolling machines and now I feel kind of stupid for buying one because they sound like early 90s Casio Keyboard style like I'm not sure that I'll ever be able to make these things make cool newer neat sounds without actually uploading the sounds to them it seems like all the sounds that come on these things are like sort of like child's joking music like doesn't sound like cool at all like I can't get jiggy with that shit
I think that’s a one of the big points why people go crazy for those kind of machines. They produce analogue sound or imitate the analoge sound behavior like those vintage analoge synths from the eighties or nineties… . But i don’t think that they sound like “child’s joking” music. Especially when you start modulating and transforming the sound e.g. with filter sweeps etc.
@bilozone_music I agree I guess I'm looking at it wrong I need like four other instruments to make a whole sound. I guess in my mind I thought I would be able to pick this up and sort of use it like a groovebox but without deep menu diving it almost seems impossible and or silly. Some of the people that are making the deep soundscaping stuff seems really cool but heartless without a rhythm and I get it that some of these people don't want drums they want to hear like the beginning to a Space movie but as soon as I learned how to do that with my S1 that became sort of boring too so I dropped another $900 in cents and a mini tape recorder because I'm feeling like I need to build a whole kit to make this thing valuable
@bilozone_music Agreed. I just realized i had to purchase more equipment. Bought last night Berringer JT4000 Korg Oscilloscope Korg volca drum German mini tape recorder with speed Controll... Zoom ms 70 cdr. No i have to figure the best way to hook them all together.
That’s not really a pitty. Sometimes the simple ones work quite good! But I agree that the complex ones sometimes work better. So show us your complex creations!

That’s true. But i‘m happy for every single view and like and sub i get :-)
Yeah right 😢
100% - this deserves way more views.
Nomination for Track of the Year.
You must be kidding 🥹 Thank you 🙏
Two words only? Great job!!!
Thank you!!! 🥹🙏
Love this! Sounds like 2002 Sasha & Digweed. Good stuff man!
Thank you! I will check it out! 🙏
Fantastic demo of these great devices !! I wonder what you could do with a J-6 hooked up to those two ??!!
This is a great piece of music! Is the S-1 part all in one pattern? Great work!
great little Boxes 🦾🤖🎛️
So true! 😀
Amazing Jam!
Thanks!! 🙏
The best s1 t8 vidéo that i saw ‼️👍👾
Very ear pleasing indeed

Thank you! I understand! Owning the Prophet makes it quite unnecessary. But the S-1 is definitely more portable! Very good for working out new ideas!
i am after those 2 machines and here is why!
Agree!!!👍
Awesooome

Thank you! 🙏 Yes, it‘s a 64 Step Baseline that is sent from an Arturia Keystep Pro. The T8 is unfortunately limited to 32 steps.
Very nice!👏❤
Thank you! 🙏
Quality !! 😎

I have no experience with ableton but i think the TR-6s is a good choice. It has lots of different kits making it quite versatile!
@bilozone_music thanks! Am saving up for that now:)
Wow!
Really nice music! Thank you
Im still learning to use Aira Compact with other gears. What is the signal chain here?
How do you sync them all together?
How do you manage stereo output from those gears into the recorder?
Thank you
I am also wondering the same

can you play the keys live, if you don't have a keybaord
Yes it‘s possible, but off course quite limited due to the size an number of keys.
@@bilozone_music ok thx
sounds so good! is the portamento part coming from the s1 as well?
Yes, the entire synth voices come from the S1. Drums and Bass comes from the T8.
THat is COol!
Thank you!!! 🙏
Cool
🙏
@@bilozone_music 🙂
Yeah S-1 is a small but quite mighty synth, isn't it?
Yeah, absolutely! Small device, big sound!
Surely mate
Sounds strong, dude😂
Thank you 🙏👍🏼
@@bilozone_music No problem
From 6:40 on is class !!
Is that 100 bpm?
It's sad that Roland broke this product by not including the universally standard MIDI Volume (CC07).
You mean for controlling the output volume via midi?

@bilozone_music man was i wrong hahahaha. The s1 really is a beautiful machine
That's a pity that only one tonality, rythm and 4 Cords are in using.

Less is more and chords has an H in it.
