@@JasonSchumer thats the thing the Mayor of Seaside don't want nightlife clubs anymore Bamboo also got closed they made the boardwalk family friendly a lot of drama and fights use to happen back then especially when the show came out everybody was going to Karma because of the hype you use to see a lot of drunk people and fights on the street also on the boardwalk thats also the reason the cast don't film there anymore the Mayor don't want them around
That makes sense. Would have been cool to check it out before it closed... But we had a great time hanging out at the beach and the boardwalk, really nice area. Thanks for the heads up, and for watching and commenting 😁👍
It’s sad that this reality show iconic nightclub ended up like this. It’s not the first establishment that will end like this and it won’t be the last. Oh well… Long Live Karma! 💙

Though I'm not a club person and never set foot in Karma, it's still sad to see a Jersey Shore landmark like this disappear. The town didn't like either Bamboo or Karma, and they wanted them both closed. Seaside used to have a flaky, edgy, and unique personality; there was no other place like it on the Jersey Shore. Now, the old Seaside Heights we all knew and loved is gone... :(

When me and my homies visited seaside we always went 2 bamboo 4 some reason and never once stopped at karma even though we had 2 pass it 2 get 2 bamboo. Idk why

This place was on the MTV show "Jersey Shore." We we're in the area for an event, we decided to stop by and check it out. It would be really cool to see someone buy it and restore it. Hopefully one day it will happen 🤞 Thanks for watching and commenting Bobbi!
Why did it shut down
From what I see online it looks like they had issues with the building. Also fighting and underage drinking. The owner ended up filing for bankruptcy and it closed back in 2019

@@JasonSchumer the construction would center around an “active streetscape” that will breathe new life into the business corridor while also serving as the foundation to a five-story, 52-foot residential complex that will feature myriad amenities, including a top-of-the-line rooftop observation deck and an indoor pool facility. There’s a few articles online showing the renders.. reminds me of the new buildings in Long Branch
