This use to be a post office in the 1950's. Perry Smith, one of the Clutter family killers from "In Cold Blood," picked up a package HERE shortly before his capture.
There is a ghost in the courtroom. I once saw an apparition from the corner of my eye in front of the double doors. I was with my mother and assumed that there was security guard in the room that guarded the entrance. When I turned to look there was nobody there.
I served active duty, my father had a post office box here, my uncles and cousins all had their own post office box here. I got a post office box here during late 1980' ... until just prior to post office closing down, that's what this building was before the mob museum!
Fantastic video, thanks!! I just bought my flight/hotel package today, going next March. You have convinced me to visit this museum. I'll spend the day at Fremont street and this is on my itinerary now. Thanks so much. 🇨🇦
Is there any information about the Desert Spa? It was a footnote in Las Vegas history. You may know it was next to the Desert Inn and across the street from the Stardust. Circa 1955-1956. They had mob and licensing issues and barely opened. Lots of things happened.
Great video❤ and great history! This is a museum i would love to visit as I am a fan of everything that has to do with the history of organized crime. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find someone who can understand or like this type of museum. I loved it, and for now, at least, i can see it, thanks to you guys.❤
I didn't walk away thinking it was praising the criminals at all, rather praising law enforcement & officials who weren't afraid to stand up to them. I distinctively remember them highlighting Estes Kefauver a senator from our home state of Tennessee's fight to take down criminals.

That was very cool! We’ve been to Vegas a few times, but never visited that museum. How long were you in there? Thanks for taking us with you!
We were there for about 3hrs on our way back from the Hoover Dam. Our pleasure Margie!

I am staying at The Downtown Grand next week. I am definitely going to check this out.
I'm a mafia fanatic and this museum don't have anything exciting to see just pictures on the wall
👍

@@larrydennis2721same
Yeah it’s basically mostly pictures and stories on walls lol
Yes, the cat was in The Godfather! It was sitting on Brando's lap and he was petting it at the beginning of the movie.
👍
I keep hearing "The Mom museum ". Can you imagine.

Amazing video thank you for sharing , do you remember how much the student ticket cost? NVM find out it cost 19.95$
Thanks!
Do they allow filming or did you had to get a special permission?
They do not, we got permission ahead of time smoke.
Is it difficult to get permission? How can one obtain one?
@@smoke135 I contacted them from their website with my proposal of what I was requesting to film.
Grat vid sir
Thanks
Thanks, our pleasure!
Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to go but I loved the tour you posted so I have subscribed.
Welcome!
Great job with this video. Even though this is not really my "thing", I enjoyed the tour. Hope ya'll are having a great week! God bless!
It was interesting have once worked closely with law enforcement as a firefighter/paramedic. Thanks Cathy, you too!
Great job, noticed no children anywhere . Would anyone know if it’s kid appropriate or probably something for a kid to skip?
Thanks Nick! I would say older kids would be fine. I did point out there were a few intense sections in the video for little ones.
13:27 What is Joe Pesci pointing at? Why would they remove his gun?
Gotta see this!!
👍
Fun fact: I heard it's haunted?
I think I have heard this fact for just about every museum we have done
This is so cool
👍
Love the videos
Thanks Girk!
IT is amazing to me how people PRAISE a group of KILLERS, PIMPS, and SCUMBAGS. TRUE THUGS and they have a museum dedicated to how great they are. WOW
I didn't walk away thinking it was praising the criminals at all, rather praising law enforcement & officials who weren't afraid to stand up to them. I distinctively remember them highlighting Estes Kefauver a senator from our home state of Tennessee's fight to take down criminals.
It's simply about history.
cool

Tickets?? U gotta pay for the museum wtff
It's a " mob" museum. They gotta get a piece of the action...wet their beak. 😎💸👌🏻
Because they helped build America for what is of real family's of America have a nice day lost wages Nevada
$8 for 4 hrs of parking??? Holy ssh***. That's a put off already

It’s the crime and gangster history, not necessarily Las Vegas Mob history.
