Finished Volume 2 tonight, and as it stands right now, this is a top 5 series/run for me all time. I bought them relatively blindly on a whim, and I could not be happier. It is phenomenal so far.
Instocktrades has all 3 volumes for under $30 a piece, a little less than Cheapgraphicnovels. Just a heads up for anyone looking to save some coin. This is a must read book, thanks Omar!!!
I loved it. I have the glued bound volume 1, it's perfectly fine for someone like me who never double-dips. As a whole, it surely is up there with Fear Agent as a personal favorite from Remender. Enjoy.

No mention of Vol.1 second edition’s binding issues? Yeah, it was sewn this time, but according to many accounts, pages got loose from the spine quite easily. Apparently, what it’s in stores now it’s actually a 2nd printing of the 2nd edition that is supposed to fix those issues, too, but I would like some confirmation on that.
Been reading a few Amazon reviews of the remastered Vol 1 and apparently people still aren't happy with the new binding and saying it's coming apart. I've never read this or Rick Remender before but I'm intrigued so I guess I'll pick them up.

Second printing of Vol. 1 isn't much better. It stays open but it has about as good binding as the Miles Morales Ultimate Spider-Man and Runaways Omnibus. So I think you good if the gutter loss isn't bothering you personally. That said I also need persuading not to get Vol. 2 again since I got the DCBS cover when the regular was oos 😂.

I bought the first two books with the normal cover and got the third one with the DM variant for god knows what reason.. maybe cause it was my first time ordering from a IST (I’m Canadian) and the option was there.. I had to add something to the Hardcover omnibus set of Strangers in Paradise (Omar mentioned a few times how this title came in clutch during a certain time of his life so I had to get it) so that I can justify the shipping cost and duty. I don’t know if I messed up having the third book as a variant or what not but at least spine are matching.

I read the 1st TPB and it did not work for me. I did not get enough to care for the carachters. The art is beautiful, but I felt it was too much with the fast pace story. Even when it tries to slow down for some carachter moments. Does it get any better? (Uncanny X-Force and Fear Agent are coming up in the reading pile 😁)
Finished vol.3 tonight and.. I really don't want to sound like a hater or something, but how good this should be if there can be more intellectual stuff and less family drama. Graphics are pure joy and pleasure for an eye, there are a lot of good ideas.. but despite I'm trying pretty hard I can't beat the feeling of too shallow story line. Comics about multidimensional travelling and I must read endless "oh Daddy, why you are not home" parts. For me a total waste of perfect potential..
I remember absolutely loving the first issue when it first released. But I disliked the next six or seven issues and gave up on the series. Reminder does get some beautiful editions though
Near Mint Condition sadly it was. I know, I really should remove it too, but there is also so much good on their. Unfortunately I have my beautiful Fear Agent library editions on the shelf as a sad reminder, but I’m not giving those up no matter what’s going on with poor RR. My Agent Venom singles may be finding new homes however. ;]
I’m not a fan of Remender’s creator owned hardcovers. Whoever he commissions to make them does a terrible job on the spines. I have seven of his creator owned hardcovers and the spines have fallen apart on over half of them. I’m not talking about a natural “eye” either, on mine the pages are completely falling off the spine. I really enjoy Remender’s work but it makes it frustrating and discouraging to collect these and I probably won’t be buying anymore.

Yep. Read the same on Amazon UK with vols 1 and 2. Not many people, and I’d hope it’s since been fixed. (The UK complaints aren’t not recent.)
Did they fix the binding on the new books? Amazon is littered with people saying their 1/2 books are falling to bits after reading them through once.
