    Just fantastic. I discovered HRT, and my voice with my gynecologist, a few years ago as I entered menopause and I couldn’t be more grateful. You, and Angie Hot and Flashy, opened the door to my knowledge and the power to advocate for myself. Thank you!

    I feel like you can never have too much expert information on health and wellness! I don’t think people understand the power of food and what it does to our bodies! I also feel like women get overwhelmed with the thought of working out and staying fit when honestly it’s as simple as incorporating dumbbell weight Which is so easy and doing some power, walking or get on a recumbent bike, just move and help your body and go into our golden years so much healthier and stronger. I know you’ve had many experts on that were very helpful. I don’t think you can ever have too many of those types of helpful informative episodes. But there is one thing that I feel like nobody ever really gets their finger on for us women that are closer to 60 and up. Our face and our skin changes and I do believe there are some cosmetics as well as lotions and things that can really help us look so good! I feel like everything’s always geared for 20, 30 and 40 year-olds. Clearly after 50 it changes! So helpful tips and tricks would be much appreciated. And even specific products for women entering into their 60s into their 70s as far as cosmetics go.

    Here is a video idea… One on the topic of diet and menopause. How our diet is impacted at this time of life. For example I am no longer able to eat dairy and gluten.
    Thanks for everything you do!!!

    Wow judging by the comments I am reading menopause will never leave the cave. Talking to your doctor??? When has that ever gotten us any where, doctors are motivated by pharm and if we can not be our own advocate then who can be. Knowledge is power. The not knowing what to expect, and having people who have been through it share their knowledge. Each one of us is an individual, we go through life each in a different way but menopause is something real, there is no getting away from it so why not have it out there, it is not a dirty little secret but a process of life. Thanks Dominique for sharing in such a positive way ❤

    Thank you. I would like to see an interview with Joshua Becker. A man yes, but someone who has a strong faith and also encourages women to make space in their lives for themselves by getting rid of all the stuff that takes up so much of our time and energy. Freeing us up to enjoy our lives. Thanks again for over 50 and flourishing.

    We as a society need to pay more attention to this issue as this generation of women in our 40’s, 50’s and 60’s are greatly in the working force more than any other generation of women before. We are the children of the women’s liberation! Forget youth and looking pretty, what about our brains? If we choose and are expected to be in the workforce, we have to have adequate medical care for us. We have to demand it! This is the reality of our working world today. I’m a lawyer and administrative law judge and frankly I was terrified about losing my thoughts and not being able to do my job. I thought I had early Alzheimer’s, RA, MS, I couldn’t figure out what was going on. It’s all perimenopause! I’m 48 and on HRT and thank god…but I figured this all out with the help of ladies like you both, and Mary Jane Minkin from the tv special who happens to be my gynecologist. But what about all the other women? We need to all should from the rooftops how underserved we are!!!

    There is so much more to us than just menopause. It appears to me many of these videos are constantly about menopause. Navigating menopause should be between each individual woman and her primary health care doctor, not someone on a video. I'm sure many viewers find the people you have as guests helpful. At the end of the day each woman's journey through menopause will be as unique as the woman herself.

      I do agree there is more to us than menopause. However, I do like videos like this as it helps me improve my knowledge to have informed conversations with my medical provider, so I see both sides.

      I am concerned this recent major interest for this challenging time in women lives is HIGHLY motivated by MONEY… The push for hrt is real and my instinct is telling me to be careful with these menopause “ gurus “ such as Haver who are now making lots of money and getting A LOT of attention….

    • @anneparker237
      @anneparker237 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +17

      Hmm... There has always been a hush hush in our society, at least here in the United States, regarding menopause. I have a woman doctor that's never even once talked to me about menopause even though I was discussing in depth with her things that I was experiencing that were menopause related. That is NOT okay. There is no reason to be quiet about this time in a woman's life. I want all the help I can get and anybody who wants to talk about it can talk about it and I will decide whether or not to listen. We usually go to extremes in order to reach a balance. So if everybody's talking about this kind of stuff, maybe it's because nobody did for a long time.

    • @Dkb522
      @Dkb522 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The conversation can’t only be between and woman and her Dr when that conversation is often based on the wrong information. Women shouldn’t hide…we have to hear about men’s ED. It’s like saying if it isn’t happening to the almighty penis then it isn’t important! Women deserve better.

      I hope you know how fortunate you are not to have had the demons of menopause. I have had every miserable symptom. Hot flashes were so disruptive to my life that I went back on HRT despite having had breast cancer. No other remedy I tried alleviated the intense hot flashes and night sweats I suffered with. I guess I will stay on HRT until I die.

    Oh no. Its menopause again. Why not treat this time in our lives as another natural transition, just like puberty or pregnancy. Menopause is not a disease. It’s a normal and healthy part of aging. Aim to be your best self at every stage in life, whatever that may be for you.

I'm sure during Tamsen and Dominique conversation everyone was able to benefit from an aspect they hadn't thought before.

    Quick question is it rude for another woman , not a friend , doctor, for example a salesclerk at my drugstore, ask me point blank, out of the blue , " How old are you???" Makes me uncomfortable, so I chose not to answer , then she continues to laugh and ask me why ???
    Rude I feel, not the first time either I get asked this question! I never would ask someone this!!! Like saying ,how much do you have in your bank account 😮
