I'll use a structural foundation family (footing) and place it under the column. Then, I'll use the Join Geometry tool to join it with the floor and IB/EB. As long as the material is the same, they will join together perfectly.
Probably don’t have time to do Lumion since I want to keep the daily Revit one going. But I can still answer your Lumion questions since Lumion is part of my everyday work and I do consider the way I model in Revit in order to export to Lumion seamlessly.

I'm afraid not. I don't know anything about the Robot, but I guess it will not work because this is a workaround method.
