    This is great. How do I use the railing family on an existing project though?

      Maybe try to model floor and place railing on it.

    Great video, Thanks so much for all the content. I just have a question. I have 2 rows of seats.
    How do I adjust the seats in the front and back row to be exactly behind each other? At this stage there is a slight offset between the front and back seats

      I'm not sure TBH. Maybe you can try the Baluster Placement and change the Dist. from previous to 0 for some of the "seats".

    Wooww, very effective and insightful tutorial . Although I have a question, the chairs don't show on plan for some reason is it because of its a baluster ?

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think the chairs are not visible because of baluster category. Edit the family and see if the Plan/RCP Visibility is turned off under Visibility/Graphics Override.

    As a beginner like me, I cannot understand why it doesn't work when the chair is loaded directly in Baluster family , on the contrary it works when copied and pasted.

      It's a bit odd. I will have some more test.

      You are right, I just checked. You can load a family into a baluster family, just make sure that family is not shared.

    When I load this into my main project, which has railing already in there and forced it adopt the already existed railing and that made the platform disappear.. how do I cure this? Thanks

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You just need to rename it before you copy it

    teacher, how can we get the number of baluster. can you help me ??? (you are very good at this, obviously I need the footage)

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess you can load a shared family with no geometry into the baluster family and use it to count the number. I will have a test let you know if it’s possible.

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried but failed. :( Shared families do not work properly in baluster families.

    Why it does not show on floor plan?

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s probably because that balusters are by default not visible in floor plans. I’m having a headache so already on bed, I’ll have a look tomorrow.
