Corvair gets Patina! Fake rust from spray cans!

- Adding new paint to an old car to make it look old. Doesn’t make sense to a lot of people, but it is what it is. Fake patina paint job. I used rustoleum spray paint to create a rusted out and worn look on the car.

I’ve never once heard Derek from VGG swear, if you really want to be like him, then please be like him. Giving you the benefit of the doubt I’m still watching at 2 min into the video. But my tolerance for swearing is pretty low. Appeal to the masses by making it a family show. There’s my advice. Take it or leave it. 🤷🏼♂️
I appreciate the feedback. My initial response was to not be very nice and tell you to move on down the road. However, I did a slight bit of self reflection and realized you're right. I'm definitely NOT trying to be VGG but I do want to be family friendly and you are absolutely right! So I will apologize for the language. Not even sure how bad it was as this was a little while ago but when someone points out a flaw that I can agree with, I have to take note. Thanks for your comment. @@ChadsGarage1 thanks so much for the reply and positive response. I seriously expected either no reply or backlash. My granddaughter who’s 4 LOVES cars and trucks. She hangs out with me in the garage, we rebuilt a carburetor just last night. She asks to watch “truck videos” on my iPad. I have a very select few channels I can watch with her. You’ll never hear a curse word from me on my channel either. There are successful channels out there who take the other path, but won’t get my views. Thanks for taking the high road! Means a lot!

I like it I was thinking of doing this to a Corvair Van Would you clear coat over it ?
I am planning on it. Especially if you have actual rust on it. I’m going to try Vice Grip Garages “Shine Juice” as soon as I get the funds. It’s a wipe-on clear coat. Looks pretty cool. If it’s all paint, you could use an actual spray on clear coat. @vicegripgarage
