I’m in a U.S. Army artillery unit and this video helped me understand how they lay the guns much better. Great vid

I was in French artillery, and even if we use black and red too, we don't use them as you do, so it's cool to see how others countries works.

Your series of videos is amazing, and shows how busy id be if firing and moving to a new fire position, really what i feel arma does noother game can, althought never gonna see this in any mp missions

Thanks. Arty is an art :) Arma was developed as a fully functional military training tool ( originally called Virtual Battlespace 3 (VBS3)). So no wonder you can MOD it back to its original purpose. Though it will not be a popular shott'em up platform. You will realize military is 99.9% about training and learning and 0.1% about shooting... MP is other way around :)

@@gezalesko3813 absolutely, and real life has alot more factors than any game can replicate, but good starting point

At first I thought the angles were measured as in the workshop industry where angles are measured with a sine ruler in degrees, minutes, and seconds. Then I realized that the scale is not 60 minutes but the Russian system of MILS. Outer ring 5231 MILS and inner ring 4266 MILS

Hello, I was always wondering what do those little red dots on the red scale mean? And what is their purpose?
