Oh no! Something has been at your sheepses! Lost one of the new lambs! You need to get a sheepdog. I love the sound of the layout, the ones with too much soundproofing just don't sound good at all. You have me thinking about redesigning one of my planned layouts. I currently have four running tracks close to each other, and they all run through the same mainline station. National, local, and an end to end. But 5 looks so much betterer. I find it VERY relaxing to watch the trains running, and the noise is a BONUS. You need to mount a small vacuum cleaner on a wagon, and send it through the cobwebs as the lead "Webplow".
Thankyou. I do have a good noise and agree that 5 is better, but I am tempted to add one more next October for my retirement present. The web was surprisingly sticky, kind regards, Philip
Is that what TH-cam call video 'shorts'....... 😅 Sorry Philip if my observation put you to so much work - it was only intended to assist with knowledge (as many have assisted me over the decades). Years ago the Southern used to 'borrow' the locomotives off the inter-regional passenger trains during their overnight layover at Poole. It took some explaining as to how an inter-regional class 47 suffered a traction-motor flashover on a Fawley tanker train..... Disappointing to learn you didn't attain the 4000 hours mark - so close - Colin
Your comment was useful. I made a video out of it. I was forced to do the work which needed to be done. It was amazing how two extra wagons was too much . And I learnt something and the train looks better. So please do point things out. Thanks Philip
I will probably in 3 months reach the magic 4,000 hours, but it would have been nice to get paid £50 per month until then. It just the way you tube works. It will happen at some point this year.
Sorry to hear you didn’t get the 4K hours in time. I’d be interested in a video of some of your wiring and electronics set up. 👍
David
Good idea. Probably 3km of wires. I will make a video in a few months. Thanks. Kind regards , philip
This is what it’s all about “just running Trains” really enjoy your uploads
thankyou,

Must admit I’m not looking forward to seeing that spider….. layout is as great as ever though!
A large train eating spider....
They make me shiver as well. What racial memory triggers that response?
My children hated spiders which is why they never used the sandpit.
Do you get another chance to reach 4000 watch hours?
I will probably in 3 months reach the magic 4,000 hours, but it would have been nice to get paid £50 per month until then. It just the way you tube works. It will happen at some point this year.
