Hendricks is a player i think we should draft, he do not need ball in hand to create offense, and he a good shooter. He fits with the current team if we expect CADE/IVEY to be our main guys, and him and Duren to be our clean up guys on defense
He checks all the boxes, I would be happy to have him as a Piston

I have Hendricks lower than Whitmore & Walker but above both Thompson twins. I would be happy with Hendricks but ONLY if at least one of Bagley/Stewart/Wiseman are gone
I definitely think we need to clear out some of our bigs, they simply weren't getting the job done last year
@@DetroitFanTVStewart is too small and unathletic but you can get by with Duren and Wiseman at the 5. We do not need Jarace Walker AT ALL. And Stewart is similar to Walker. Bagley has a place on this team atleast to start this season. Sign FA wings and draft Hendricks.

Taylor Hendricks would be a PERFECT fit for the Pistons! He doesn't need the ball all the time, he can catch and shoot at 40%, and hes a rim protector (which WE NEED )
I Like Cam Whittmore but Hendricks is a better fit for our needs!
Having a couple guys we really like is a good problem to have, now we're sure to at least get one of them!

I've been scouting for months now,lol. Especially after they played us on the draft. I thought Whitmore was the guy until I seen Hendricks. He's the guy we need. Put him at the 3 too.

I'd have Monty and his staff work on convert Taylor into a full time Small Forward. I'd have him watch alot of Kawhi and Paul George. Work on his perimeter skills and foot work for post ups. I'd like to swap with Portland if we could get Brandon Miller but if not Taylor is the next best thing
It wouldn't surprise me if Monty turned Taylor into a star, he has that type of potential and Monty is a great developer

@DOLO DYNAMITE Not really he just plays both sides of the ball. He'd still be undersized to be a Legitimate 4-Man. Once he works on his handle and speed he could be a full time 3

His Floor is a Rotational 3&D Guy, Ceiling: Johnathan Issac+ ( of course without the injuries). I see people say Cam has a NBA ready Body ok sure 6'7 230 is good but you can add weight to 6'9 210 in Hendricks adding 10lbs of strength is nothing. Look at our guys in the Off season Cade, Duren, Stew and Ivey put on some Muscle, our guys be in the weight room he will see that and join in on it. By year two he be around 6'10 220-225 Guaranteed. Plus Walker shouldn't be the pick since Hendricks held him scoreless they first Matchup.
Jarace is more well rounded in comparison towards Hendricks. He has better shot creation, playmaking, he's more efficient via handles in addition to being the more dynamic diverse defender. Taylor perimeter scoring is literally his only advantage via analogy with Jarace.
Hendricks at 6’10 225lb will be a FORCE
@@philosoqhy We dont need anymore Creators We have enough thats whats wrong with the Rockets they have too many "Young Creators" and Now everyone is trying to be the Alpha over there its Not gone work until KPJ or Jalen Green is Traded cause they not getting rid of Jabari or Sengun. Not even the Warriors on they 17-19 run had that many Shot Creators fr Klay pretty much was a 3&D guy KD and Dray pretty much ran the offense with curry at some times and those are superstars

Video of my boy Taeler Hendrix is definitely a great player in the draft. He’s going to be drafted somewhere near the top 10. He also is a very good shooter from the outside gives a good rebound in but I think really the perfect fit for you guys is cam Whitmore I kind of like the direction you guys going in with Marvin Bagley Jalen Duren, Isaiah Stewart, the small forward position. I think Cam Whitmore fits that mold for you guys, but we definitely gotta see on draft night so keep doing what you’re doing. You’re killing your brother and I’m happy to support you.

You cannot go into a season with Bagley and Stewart as your 4 next to Duren. Whitmore is not the guy especially with reports the Pistons are signing a wing in FA. Grant or Johnson.
Trade back to 8? Don't count on Hendricks dropping past Indiana at 7. The Pacers will probably take either Hendricks or Walker there. There is also a possibility that Orlando could take Hendricks, although I think Ausar is more likely for them. Indiana is just waiting to see which of the pool of Walker, Hendricks, and Cam Whitmore are not taken by Detroit and Orlando just ahead of them. The only reason Indiana would pass on Hendricks is if Walker is also there and the Pacers' brass were more impressed with him. They brought in both on the same day for separate individual workouts and are most likely going to pick between those two guys depending on who is there given the pressing team needs for improved defense and depth at the power forward position. I'm not too stressed about it because all 3 of the guys I mentioned will probably be good players and mathematically one or more will have to be there at 7, although my personal favorite for Indiana is Hendricks. I'm used to waiting on Detroit to determine our pick because it happened last year with Ivey and Mathurin, also frankly a win-win situation for both teams because both are very good players. It would be interesting in future matchups if one team picks Hendricks and the other gets Walker similar to Ivey vs. Mathurin.

Hendricks IS WITHOUT A DOUBT the BEST fit. 6’10 versatile stretch 4 that can guard multiple positions and can shoot and even create a bit better than I think he showed in college. Fits next to Duren and the FA Wing we sign.

The only scenario I could see that happening is if both Walker and Hendricks are available at #7 (which I suppose would mean Whitmore and Ausar were the previous two picks); they could go either way regarding Walker and Hendricks, likely their top two targets for 7. I'd prefer Indiana grab Hendricks, but I'd be very happy with Walker as well. Either is a nice upgrade at PF and improves the team's lackluster defense.
He will be fine - In 5-6 years.
Never know with these young guys, some take longer than others, Its pretty unpredictable but his potential looks amazing regardless

So I've been biggest in Hendricks then cam then jarace.
We hired Monty and he plays an offense that says pass shoot or drive in a split second decision. I think we need a guy that can pass we need a guy that can shoot and we need a guy that can be in the dunker spot. I absolutely hate this but that guy is asaur thompson. God I just want Hendricks but if you think about the fit with asaur, it's kind of unmatched. He's the perfect connecting passer, and a lob threat. We just have to pray the shooting comes along. History has shown, bad ft shooters end up bad shooters so that's why I'm so down on him he shoots like 65% from ft. That's bust potential. But his fit the pistons 1/1

Cam Whitmore has a much more NBA-ready body. Hendricks is going to get pushed around too much.
Hendricks definitely needs to put on some weight, but when he does look out, his 2 way game will be dangerous

Idk bro. Not too many people playing real bully ball. He might struggle to guard centers or the biggest fours, but his skill and instinct will allow the help to come. I'm sure he's in the right room.

You might be right, Ausar is another guy with a high ceiling and crazy athleticism, all the prospects are so close its going to be fun to see who they end up with
What are everyone's thoughts on ESPN's trade proposal for Zion to Detroit for the 5th pick and Stewart and bojan? Don't know much of this draft class
I hear a lot of pistons fans do not want ZION. SMH.... imo i say if it an official offer do it. Bojan/Stewart has one year on contract left. Stewart has also been injured a few times these past two years. Zion is better than both of them, and would be better than 5th/31st picks. If it do not work with Zion in 6month-2yr you still can flip him for multiple 1st round picks. Zion Value will always be greater than Bojan/Stewart/5th/31st pick imo.
Pelican want the 5th pick so they can flip it to portland for the 3rd pick..

@@DementedApe no matter how you look at it, if that is the trade offer Bojan/Stewart/5th/31st picks ZION value is still higher than any of those guys. We will never get a 1st pick for those two or the draft picks in the near future. If Zion do not work out in a year or two multiple team would still want him and offer a few 1st round picks.

Too small for a four and doesn’t have handles or playmaking to play the three way too one dimensional there is a reason he is projected for the tenth pick. To take him number five is a mistake
He definitely needs to add size I'm with you on that. He will need a year or two for developing before he really blossoms into the player he's going to be. It's just a matter of if we want to be patient with him

Weight did not help Cunningham. It put him out for a season. He got too big too fast for his body to handle. Whitmore is ready to go with a solid NBA body. If he is there at 5 that is our guy.
Why would they draft the same position they’re targeting in Free Agency?! Hendricks is the fit and the right pick.

I like Taylor Hendricks but i feel like cam whitmore will be the better pick.
Both of those guys have the highest ceilings of all the options, they both have crazy athleticism, I’d be happy with either one
