I think we should trade Tobias + 2nds for Vuc & Carter from Bulls. IMO a true floor spacing C will unlock this offense even more by opening up more lanes for Ausar, Ron and Ivey when he’s back to attack. Tobias is koo but right now he’s just a stop gap taking up opportunity from Ausar & Ron. I also really like Tek style of play with this team as a movement shooter at the 3/4 position so I’d keep him as a backup. I’d also look at moving Tobias for a Val & Brogdon combination or Val & Poole if possible. I like D. Lo as well.

People keep complaining about the log jam at center but this actually bodes well for them IF they make the right decision (Duren) and stick with it, and I think they will. Stew is the 4, he will start for sure along with Cade, Ivey, and Bogie. Duren is our long term 5 and is better right now than Wiseman or Bags anyway. So he'll start. Our second unit (from now until trades, which are definitely coming) will be Morris, Burks, Harris, Thompson, with Bags and Wiseman splitting a lot of time but not sharing a lot of time on the court together. They might try to keep Duren's minutes down and go 3-big man rotation. I think that's the best second unit in the NBA. Pretty sure we got Harris because we intend to trade Bogey for a first rounder around the deadline when teams are desperate and his stock is highest...cuz Cade will get him a few extra wide open shots a game. Should have a better shooting percentage than last year. So Harris will step in to the sniper role without much of a drop-off. At that point if we don't trade Wiseman he and Bags will likely share the court second unit as lob threats to our savvy veteran guards as well as rebounders and rim protectors. Then you got legit plug and play 3 & D guys in Livers, Sasser, then maybe Diallo comes back for a one year deal, just a lot of depth. If Cade stays healthy he might be at all-star level and if that's the case the Pistons could potentially pull some Heat $hit in the playoffs. The big 3 era is dead. Too many egos and imbalanced rosters. The league is evolving to strategies, depth, athleticism and matchups...and ultimately it's becoming a GM's league. It's NBA Moneyball. Troy is rightfully all in on Cade and want's to keep stacking picks to cheaply fill around him.

(Open spot) C This is a reasonable starting five with inter-changeable parts, plus two open roster spots to boot!...Weaver has gave us a team of design...Lets see how they blend as a unit💪✊🙏

I think Monty Williams will try lots of different line-ups and find the units that play the best together.

Duren reminds me of a combination of Ben Wallace and David Robinson. He's a hard worker who is a winner.

Duran and Thompson alone are so physically gifted and instinctual that they guarantee the floor of the Pistons to be at least a mid-seed playoff team in a year or 2 depending on the offensive growth from Cade and Ivey. I also think both Wiseman and Bagley are PF's.

Microwave. Love the pick. 6th man, yes, but he could steal minutes from others because of his defense. Auser and Sasser are great defensive additions who son't scarifice offense. Ivey, who is excellent on offense, could feel some pressure if he doesn't up his defense.

Pistons fans, slow down. Duren is my number one player. However, let the season start. Let's see what he can do with Milwaukee, Philly, Boston, Denver and other teams with playoff and championship experience. Again, slow down y'all . He's a very good player but If the Pistons don,t drastically improve and show other teams that they are a threat, all this hype is for NOTHING !!!!

They should keep all 4 , play each 24mpg tell them to give it all they got. There will be missed games for all of them, so they'll be extra minutes when it happens. See who's the most effective under those conditions and the pecking order will be revealed organically.
