I actually have this bow in 80lbs and loved it. But then I put in 4 of the limbsaver x twist and instantly took a ton of noise and more vibration out. Definitely would recommend. Well worth the 14 bucks.
Picked mine up a few weeks ago and wow! I tried every brands flagship model and was between the EVL and Hoyt Ventum, they both shot so well. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and there are so many great bows out there this year but this one is something special!
I think PSE has really stepped there game up the past couple of years. I shot the NXT 31 last year an loved it. I started to purchase one but it was so close toward the end of year and decided to wait so I cant wait to shoot the expedite and the evl this year. Looks like I may be returning to a PSE this year.

+Eli French we try to do the best we can. We will probably be doing a top 5 of 2021 here pretty soon. But we are leaning towards the PSE and Hoyt with Bowtech right in there close.
@@OutdoorShellback the V3 31 is a really nice bow and shot well, right with all the flagship bows and was one of the quietest bows we shot. The V3 27 has a terrible draw cycle. We just lay out the facts and how we see it which is hard for people these days to handle.
I've seen other reviews that show similar speeds. The speed here as on other reviews seem like it is at 60 not 70! Pse speeds are usually a lot closer if not @ spec. Is it truly 70 lbs?
You picked a great bow. They both are right at the top. I don’t think you will be disappointed either way you went. I think the biggest difference in feel will be the ability to hold 90% on the PSE and only 85% on the Hoyt but it’s not real noticeable.
So do you feel it would its superior the the expidite. Seems like for having the same cam and such it seems overly slow. As for a hunting bow im not sure if its the winner. What is your thoughts. I want to ahoot one but no shops locally have any pse so i cant justify 1200 bucks just to see it.
The expedite is faster and is a nice shooting bow. The shorter brace height will make it more critical to shoot but if speed is what you want or you are trying to make up speed for a shorter draw length then the expedite will give it to you.
+Steve Pav honestly the 2 bows are right at the cream of the crop and would be a toss up in our opinion. Go shoot both and make the call for your self between those 2.

@@MikesArchery Hey Bryan, went and shot both bows yesterday. Purchased the EVL. The EVL just fit me better and I liked the solid back wall and more traditional styling. The Ventum 30 looks and feels to chunky for me. I think I made the right purchase for me.
I noticed all these bows advertised weight is lighter than real world weight. Come on bow companies. Advertise honestly. Speed and weight are always exaggerated
I see why they PSE removed limb dampers. After shooting my EVL for a week now. The dampeners are just not needed. If you add them you would be adding more mass and junk to your rig.
+Hunt 2hook Ventum is only 85% let off which would gain you back some of that speed if you set the PSE to 85%. But both bows are right at the top and comparable. It would be a tough toss up between them.

at 30" DL and 65% let off with a 350 grain arrow, bare string and bow at 70lbs, will shoot 345fps. That's how they test them. Probably bare shaft as well. All brands do the something.
@@aidenstephenson2658 PSE makes great bows but this bow is not that fast. Compared to all the big manufactures this year this PSE is slow. Not sure why bit it is. If you look at all the other reviews on this channel the pse is in the back of the pack.

The cable slide is a default on the evl. It breaks. A company called TAP sells titanium slide to fix it. It's not covered by warranty

I ordered the ventum 33 three weeks ago. Didn't have the evl at shop yet kinda nervous now

At 80lbs what does ten turns take it down to very curious
+Ryan Welch should be 50lbs or so. Generally it’s 3lbs/turn but can vary slightly.
I think id buy this bow at 80 lbs givin the 90% let off hurts the speed. Still relatively noisy when compared to mathews.

Does anyone know more about the buss tuning system. Does that let you yoke tune without a bow press?

It does seem to be missing 10-12 fps, 10 feet loss for one inch of draw, 50 grains heavy so 20 fps there. So it’s a 330-332 ibo
+brian deal I believe some of not most of that speed can be brought back by going to 85% letoff or even 80%.

You will gain 5+ FPS bringing it back to 85% like a Hoyt.
