Drove 2 hours today, got to the Bow N Arrows 1/2 before they closed and picked up the EVL 34- no problems getting it to go. I was a little frazzled from the drive, traffic out there by you guys is insane, but Bruce put me at ease. Can’t wait to set it up tomorrow. Bruce and the guys are awesome. Looking forward to seeing what you think of the 34’s.
My next vacation back to Cali in October will have me and my Dad stop by there on our way from Bakersfield to San Diego. Dad wants to get into archery and still lives in So cal and now I know of a great shop to take him to as we head down for our annual fishing trip.
I think I am addicted though...need to start getting rid of some bows. I have (2) Bear Anarchy HC, a Bear BR33, a PSE Omen, an Obsession Defcon 6, and now a 2021 Prime Nexus 4.
I just tested 5 different bows today, the EVL 32 was the 1 I decided on. String angle, draw cycle, adjustability, grip, were the deciding factors for me. The speed is nice too, should be able to push 450-470 gr at 280fps at around 63-65 lbs. Thanks for the video
This is the first time that I have heard anyone speak about how the Primes are very hard to torque....which is one of the reasons that makes them so unique and so rad!
I shot the Nexus 2 and EVL on the same day. Went with the Nexus 2. The EVL did draw a little smoother but IMO the Nexus 2 held better and had less vibration.
I've watched tons of comparison videos lately. I would like to see comparisons of new models versus stuff atleast 10yrs old. Ventum, vx3, etc versus stuff like the solo cam, rytera alien x, hoyt vertrix etc...
If you liked the Nexus 2, you'll love the Nexus 4. Personally I shoot a Nexus 6 but that's purely because I have a 31.5" draw. If I could I'd shoot the nexus 4.
i would geek out with that dude about bows all day! refreshing to see a shop owner know his stuff inside out!

So many great bows to choose from!
I picked the 32, I shot a Hoyt and it felt horrible to me. It wouldn’t sit still and was uncomfortable. Good luck to you.
