Fine print is, when you transfer the free charging. It’s only up to 6 years and after that you loose the for life free charging.

If you use supercharger better often you don't want the charge full speed because this is degrade your battery

Hey! I’m right there with you. I have a 2016 model S and got that email on Wednesday. Did a test drive on Thursday, and ordered a model S on Friday when they announced the stealth Grey. This is a killer deal as I live all around super chargers and take frequent road trips with the family. Can’t wait! Anyway, congrats to you too 👏🏻👏🏻
Yeah the free supercharging is an awesome benefit, I never would have thought Tesla would do this, so I'm glad I jumped on this opportunity. I will say this, it's been 5 days since I took delivery of my new model Y and I'm still waiting for the Free Charging to transfer.
Oh man I figured by now you would have it. I’m sure it’ll be a big sigh of relief when it’s officially active. I don’t think Tesla would pull a big bait and switch like that 😅
The Supercharging Transfer Agreement states that the new vehicle must be delivered by 12/31/23, and in item 6 states that "The forfeiture of free, unlimited Supercharging on your current vehicle cannot be reversed after you accept this Agreement, even in the event that the new vehicle is deemed a total loss or you cancel or reverse the purchase of your new vehicle after delivery."
In other words, if you sign this agreement and then Tesla doesn't deliver the new vehicle by 12/31/23, you lose free supercharging on your old vehicle and are no longer eligible for free supercharging on the new vehicle. I was told by a Tesla rep that we need to sign the Transfer Agreement at least a few days before delivery.
We are trying to transfer free supercharging from a 2014 Model S, and ordered a new Model X on 10/21/23, the second day the promotion was available. At first our estimated delivery date was November - December. Now it has been updated to December 19 - February 13. I'm afraid this promotion is increasingly starting to look like a mirage.
Yeah that is why I took delivery as soon as I could as the delivery timeframe can be an issue. I hope it works out well for you.
FYI, when a Tesla rep contacted me to see if I had turned in my Supercharging Transfer Agreement, I had a text message exchange with him about this issue. He said that as long as I turned in my Transfer Agreement and that they had "created a case" for me by 12/31, the supercharging transfer would be applied to my order. So I have now submitted my Transfer Agreement, and the rep confirmed that he had "created a case" immediately afterward. So it looks like I was being unnecessarily wary about this.

Dude what are you taking about 250kw chargers aren’t really more then between 100 to 73 kw in reality and the said mileage range is also half of that in reality I hade model Y for three years and this Tesla bs is a scam. Not mention that stupid glass roof that heats up your car like crazy

I have a 2014 and it has no free super charging. The previous owner had free supercharging until it was transferred to my name.
The supercharging will not transfer to a new owner if you sell the new car
