It's also fun to go back and laugh at how stupid they were and I real life you only get one chance to be this stupid and you're fired. So yea it's fun and easy to be on shows or playing 2k and throw out random cool trades but 76ers would be HORRIBLE right now if they traded Harden and Maxey for Dame. Dame was the most overrated trade piece for a year meanwhile Mavs got Kyrie for Dorian Finney and a 1st five years from now

Not only did Jimmy say he’s never playing for another organization, but Philly picked Tobias Harris over him like 5 years ago and he let the whole world know how he felt about it. If we tried this trade in infinite universes it would never go through. Honestly, that Steph Curry trade has a better chance of going through than the Jimmy Butler one.

This is a good team. Broussard is flourishing, Wright is a good if often annoying foil, and Wildes is a revelation as a harmonizer. They seem to like each other.
i’m a rockets fan and my all time favorite player is harden. that being said, i would never in a million years trade jimmy for harden and maxey

It really is crazy how great harden is during the regular season (particularly away from his heliocentric rockets) but is absolutely unreliable in the playoffs

Maxey isn’t getting traded. The media hasn’t caught up to the new cba implications. He’s an all star player who’s money comes off the books next year. That’s what Morey is trading, and that’s what a number of teams need. Clippers, and Miami have money they need to get off of. The Knicks have contracts to match any deal so they’re always sniffing around.

Honestly, Clippers is the best bet, no the Sixers aren't going to get PG13, BUT!!
A deal like Robert Convington(former Sixer), Norman Powell (won🏆w/Nurse), Marquis Morris (From Philly) and Terrence Mann and the 2028/2030 1st Rd picks, honestly isn't terrible.
Then send Terrance Mann, along with Tobias Harris and Korkmaz and next year's 2nd and maybe first for another big piece.
Resign Reed and sign guys like Terrance David, Daishon Nix, Myers Leonard and Ty Jerome too, could be some smart small pickups this offseason

broussard "ok kyrie vaccination was an issue in brooklyn, but you still had KD". Nope KD was out for 3 months(35 games) and kyrie was sitting for a similar amount of games while and joe harris (5th starter, best 3 pt shooter. was out for the season). It was harden and scrubs after joe tsai saved some taxes in the offseason and jetissoned the (4) 3 and D guys(most went to contenders). The nets decided harden didnt need rotation players that could space the floor, this is what caused the trade demand. So brousasard doesnt even know the history there. Good organizations dont make so many bad decisions and rockets, nets, and 76ers management organizations are dumpster fires, incompetent. I knew harden( a small ball space the floor talent) couldnt be incorporated into a Doc rivers offense, and it looked awful in the playoffs. First year with the nets, harden was 28ppg, 55% FG's and 10 dimes/game against the celtics in the playoffs. Small ball and Rivers cannot coexist, never should have made the trade if rivers was going to be coach. You cant play small ball with one of the worst transition defense in the league and Doc didnt know how to play that way.

James Harden is the missing piece that never fulfills his so called ability. I will never forget Durant standing on the total opposite side of the court. He had made the 2 pt shot to get them to OT. 1/2 inch from game winner. James harden got the ball for final possession and he dribbled all the way across the court and handed KD the ball. KD was so shocked and exhausted he looked like wtf am I supposed to do with this? This isn’t how you play basketball. He throws up an air ball cause he shot the ball like 40 times that night
I would not touch either player if I was legitimately looking for the championship. I would not have Kylie even if he offered to play for free if I actually hoped to contend...... Hardin could be viable in the playoffs if you had a number 1 and number 2 player to count on.
Harden can not get to the clippers outside a sign and trade. SO this is why he opted in. Run it back in philly makes little sense. Even if Embiid doesnt get injured, They are cap strapped and cant improve the team. The clippers if healthy look more competitive.

James Harden has become a burden to any team because of his extremely self-centered attitude. He can't be coached, and he will not adjust to the team's requirements. If he goes to Clippers, he will be in the exact same position next year because at least one of PG and Kawahi will be injured. They can't win the title. Heat may be his best chance. Heat can trade Kyle Lowry + some draft pick for James. Knicks may be his second option.
