This looks lovely, sadly i dont think we would get one as it is probably a private one, we live in a retirement sheltered flat and it a housing association, and it is awful, full of narrow minded, nasty gossipy neighbours, they appeared to be friendly when we moved in, but they just want to find out all your business, or if you don't invite them into your flat for a good nose about, they soon dont want to know you, the people that move into these flats for LGBTQ are very blessed to live with like minded people.

My boyfriend is a career in Edinburgh and he's 60 i'm 48 and he says the same thing you do . He works for the local council going into people's homes but most of the time at one sheltered housing complex. It's a mixture of some people paying some rent and others getting it payed for them by the government. I have been there with him and noticed the nosy people watching us. It's for over 55 people. They literally have nothing to do but watch every ones else moves about the place . Obviously they don't know i'm his partner or that he is gay . My partner was previously married to a woman and has two sons in there 20's. In 49 soon , never had kids or been married. He is the only relationship i've ever been in with since 2017. I'm scared i'm ginna end up alone in a care home no kids or family and hiding who i really am. 😢
