You prolly dont care but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost the account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
Dude you are an absolute LIFE SAVER. Not a single youtuber has made ANY videos about how to reinstall them with detail only how to pull them out. You just made my life so much easier!
"You should put it easy slowly down in the correct position." *releases engine* *moment of silence* "That is not the correct position." Love this channel.
This guy has the best workshop garage, with all the tools and cleanliness. Makes me want to organize my home garage, paint the floor and put everything in order like little soldiers.
Please never stop making these videos, so well done, best Subaru technician I’ve ever seen. Had me laughing when you got the engine on the studs hahaha
Your English is very good. Most mechanics have a helper to control the lift while you concentrate on getting the engine installed correctly. You did a fine job, by yourself.
Ha, "now easy slowly down" love the short clip of "easy slowly down" along with the building blowing up and engine dropping into place. that is a GREAT sense of humor.
Thought the same thing. All that good work. Hope that clutch didn’t slip. Always resurface. 🤷🏻♂️ not a big fan of pulling engine or dropping trans months later because of a clutch issue that could of been avoided 😂
I'm an old Chevy gear head and found this series to be fascinating. I love how everything is laid out, super clean. Just awesome! - 800HP......…. He better have the video of this thing screaming or I might have withdrawals. My last endeavor was supercharging the 2010 Camaro, ~ 575HP. Looking forward to the next vid!
That is one clean looking workshop! I would eat my dinner off that. So neat and tidy. I wish you were near me. I'd bring you round my Forester XT for some work. Good job. Excellent.
.... I love the way you also include slight errors... not afraid of making mistakes... you truly are a competent secure professional..... love the little explosion clip... REALLY,.. I love watching you work,,, methodical,,, AND CLEANLY !!! Wow,.. GREAT..... How about a little clip on various gasolines.. and additives you recommend.. Thnx..
Nice, job. I replace alot of Ford, Dodge, ford, Chevy, Ford, toyota, ford... But only 2/3 Subaru engines, they’re so good. When I did Subaru I leave intake, and all other parts for the end, I think it’s better to work so have more room. But, You’re my idol, I trust in You lol. Another awesome video , Thau!
Thx for english commentary video man, it's awesome to hear you speak with such beautiful language :-), also for wide world viewers it's more valuable than deutsch awesome awesome awesome series, great/superb job on subi and relax to watch
Very nice work product. I tend to require a more organized workspace myself and my friends have fun at my expense regarding my fastidious attention to detail and tireless commitment to organization and method. I found, at a young age, I did better work in a squared away environment so I always make time to maintain a clean lab. But, I must say you do an excellent job of pacing yourself and balancing your project objectives. Capturing everything on digital for a properly editable production is an entirely different layer to have to coordinate and you did so while communicating a complex task so comprehensivly with such accuracy and detail. Even If one were to assume You had the help of an assistant or other individuals the fact that you maintained such uniformity in your approach and Did so in a language other than your native tongue Only becomes more impressive when you managed to do it without busting your thumb, lighting stuff on fire having to get a band-aid pissin oil all over the floor Dropping stuff left and right. Also your your language is excellent keep it up. Thanks,
Thank you kindly for the English vid i just hope you recap on your earlier vid there alot tech talk on bit & thing's love to know thks fan for life thks
Sehr, sehr gut, aber zum Zeitpunkt des Zusammenbaus der Kupplungseinheit hätte ich einen leichten Durchgang der Drehmaschine zum Schwungrad oder an der Grenze mit etwas Sandpapier gegeben. Sag mir was du denkst, danke.
I've always heard to install the Throw Out Bearing onto the fork before installing the engine. You did it differently. Mind telling us why? I've never installed the engine with the throw out bearing attached to the pressure plate.
Robert Savello you do it the correct Way , he does it the wrong Way , Also much easyer to do it the right Way so you dont have to stand and fiddle to get the slavearm attached to the bearing
MrTurbotoys makes sense. I kept thinking it over in my brain how he was going to install it. Seems like a colossal pain in the ass doing it that way. Thanks for confirming I'm not a complete muppet.
Robert Savello yes you are right that was the complicated way. But i have my reason for that. the spring ring that secures the bearing should be used as seldom as possible. Since the bearing was already mounted I made it this time so otherwise I do it like you say.
Any news on new ej257 engine for 2020 sti? My guess is time for new engine. My 2006 sti engine has been very reliable except for evap emission problems cleared po442 and 456,but not po448
Do you have, w/shop in asia, totaly Malaysia, I like and amace, your technic and your expertise in this work. For me, your do your work by all regulations of automation.
hi i own a 2 litre subaru model number bc4a46a option code WX and its EJ20DDM1BE its hard on petrol 8litres per 100 kilometres can it be made to run a lot less say 6 litres per 100 kilometres can you help
I always put the release bearing on the clutch for and put the pin through it before putting the engine in. Once the engine is in and bolted up all I do is push the clutch fork towards the fire wall and the release bearing clicks into the pressure plate. Really curious as to how come you don't do it the same way!
Need some help, I forgot to put the clutch pin all the way in before bolting up the engine to the transmission, do I need to pull the engine back out? Can someone please help me with this thank you guys

You guys should do a whole rebuild series where you remove the engine, rebuild and reinstall it. I love your content. Love from America!
"You should put it easy slowly down in the correct position."
*releases engine*
*moment of silence*
"That is not the correct position."
Love this channel.

I don't know what I'm more impressed with.
The engine build or installing the engine by yourself with fuckit and let drop in.
Thank you for doing this video in English.
Please never stop making these videos, so well done, best Subaru technician I’ve ever seen. Had me laughing when you got the engine on the studs hahaha
This is my favorite Subaru "wrenchen" channel, always great work. I find the videos and your exquisite shop so relaxing!

This is very much good.
You could use Google Translate. It helps with different languages. Greetings from Germany :)
I work at a Audi dealer and I use wurth products. Love them , never seen anyone use them on Subaru lol
I watch this before every motor install and follow it to the tee...easiest Flat 4 fitment ever! Thanks for an OUTSTANDING vid...BTW...total shop envy!
I am impressed you have very clean shop and you are working by yourself without getting any help that is excellent.

@@MrTiti I believe the motor mounts were on the cross member and then dropped into place. nothing was damaged
Drop on mounts, stay cool:)
I’ve done that heaps of times to and there’s no damage, but when it’s caught on video and presented like that.. No disrespect bro but that’s FAF 😂 😆 😝
my nickname is Hankasaurus
I like the part of the video where he says " set the engine down slowly " and then " BOOM " @ 10:53

I remove the axles nut because when you lift the trans with the suspension sagging you can pull the inner cv apart
Lol, ooops. Love your shop, your work, your professionalism. Great video.

You got me to laughing which i rarely do these days. Thank you for the video !

Great show but why did you put an new clutch in and not turn the flywheel.

My question for all those subaru cars what does that near new car need a motor already ?
What performance recommendations would you have for a 2003 5-speed manual, Impreza RS 2.5 NA? High-cost, middle and low cost options?
Thanks!
Ich würd mich das nicht trauen und das noch alleine! Respekt
Die Kupplung sah organisch aus. Bis ca 400PS richtig? Welcher Hersteller ist das? Schön gezeigt. Gerne mehr.

can they make this anymore compact? it is very hard to work on these cars.
