Adv Mgomezulu closed the case by asking if the celphone of Chico Thwala pinged in vosloorus does it mean that he had the celphone and Pinky said no it can be someone else using the phone so this means this evidence isnt relevant or probable for what the state is alleging
I think that Adv Mngomezulu did his job diligently and absolutely regarding the cross examination of Pinky...If my memory serves me well throughout the marathon of evidence in chief by the State leading this witness I do not recall presenting any evidence that places any of the accused in vooslorus at the time of the killing of Senzo or at the crime scene...I may be wrong...that in some instances the evidence places an accused at voorlorus during the day is niether here nor there...that their defence of alibi may be challenged by the state nonetheless that does not mean that they were ever in the house where Senzo was killed. So there is really nothing that much that Adv Mngomezulu was to say in cross examination...the evidence of this witness does not assist the state at all...another waist of state resources...

If I understand the Pinky testimony is to prove that they were in Vosloorus. Steyn's testimony was about what you're saying, and Gouws, also of Stern's. Accused 4 admitted to court that 1 is his nephew, but 1 didn't know 5 though 5 is the best friend of 4 and it revolved around that until a name was revealed which turned out to be the nephew of 1 or something and other number which turned out to be that of 1's girlfriends. In the end, the State still failed to connect all 5 knowing each other before 2020.
