In this episode of India With Elli Season 02, Elli Avrram goes to visit the largest reclining statue of Lord Budhha in Bodhgaya. It is said that this was the last position in which he gave his last sermon.
She engages in a conversation with the founder secretary of Buddha International Welfare who shares relevant information about the installation of this statue. She also visits the Sujata Stupa nearby which is dedicated to a woman who once fed Gautam Buddha under a Banyan tree.
She also goes for a trek in the Dungeshwari hills near Gaya. Get to know everything about how to get there, travel, and places to see during your trip. She then goes to the man made Barabar caves which date back to the 3rd century CE. You can also catch an amazing sunset at the Brahmayoni Hills.

Gaya is my Nani ghar, also Badi mausi family is in gaya too & i've been to all these places, surprised to see that many foreign buddhist tourists at dungeshwari hills as when i went there along with many of my relatives few years back there was rarely any tourist be it indian or foreigner. 7:13 I & my cousins all sticked coins on that cave wall and matha tek ke prayed plus wish maangi (it is saying those whose coins get sticked their wishes get heard while those whose fall aren't)

Jz one thing is confusing. All Hindu God’s posture is made as a Buddhist statues. Example you can see this statue is also representing Sri Ranganathar from Sri Rangam, Trichy. Same ways many are like that. Can anyone give a clarification of what happened
Yeh the posture is same as Sri hari Vishnu coz Buddha is believed to be 9th avatara of him by many, Btw In Patna Most iconic, most visited & important temple "Mahavir mandir" of lord hanuman there is sections & floors with statues of other gods, goddesses and Buddha bhagwan statue is one among them.

@@thanikavel321 srirangam perumal is in yoganidra in bhujaga sayanam( as mentioned in tamil jain epic Silappadigaram "ஆயிரம் விரித்தெழு தலையுடை அருந்திறற்") Sayana thirukkolam on shesha. Here buddha is in mahaparinirvana posture. Both are not same. In buddhism buddha's mahaparinirvana posture is same everywhere but perumal postures are different in srirangam it is bhujagasayanam, in Thiruvananthapuram it is anantasayanam, in mahabalipuram it is sthalasayanam, in thirumayam it is bhogasayanam etc.
