Gratzi, I purchased the same dark grey AGV sports modular helmet because of your review. My wife has the gloss black version and she lives it! ✌️😎 MikeD
I have this helmet a few days and weights not 1295gr but 1400gr (M)!!! I’am disappointed at that. Further its very quit and easy to operate! Exept the button of the sunvizor. Its hard to find but you get used to it. The click open en totally down is to heavy. Down i dont push it in its locked position en leave it against that point. I have a worn out neck so i need a light helmet. Ill drive a Road King wind screen btw
Does the helmet come with interchangeable chin inserts? You mention that the larger one interferes with the strap and pushes the strap against your throat. Thanks.
Nice..That helmet might be bit pricey for a lot of people, but It's good protection and it will last a long time as long as it doesn't hit the road. Someone should never go cheap with their personal protection. You should test it at a 100+ and see how it performs. I had a nice shoei that was a great fit, but once in the triple digits on the speedometer it wanted to float upward for some reason. I'm curious what instrument you play. You don't look like a purple bass player to me..A drummer.. Maybe..Keyboard?..I hope not..Great presentation by the way..I hope you have a good night.
Hi Rick, so far I’m liking it a lot, I went out with the tuono and at speed it holds really well. I suck at playing all those instruments, maybe I suck a little less on the drums, I have big fat fingers that get in the way, 😂.
Thanks for the review. I currently have a Shoei Neotec helmet, which I really enjoy. I’m in the market for a new one, and this AGV is a candidate. How do you find the fit of this helmet, compared to your previous system-helmet? Does it feel wider, narrower, etc? Seeing you on this clip, I’m quite surprised to hear you’re using XL size; was your previous helmet also an Italian one? Also, I want to mount my Sena Bluetooth communicator inside and on the helmet. Any experience with that?
I have a big head 😂😂. I have an AGV k5s (xl) and on the k5s I had to replace the cheek pads with the L size ones because it was too wide around the jaw, but perfect on the crown. While the modular fits me just fine as it is. I believe there is plenty of room inside to install a sena and hide all the wires 👍
When are you going to demo those bass guitars for us !? Oh this is about the helmet, sorry. What about wind noise ? I have a modular helmet that I nicknamed the “torture chamber” for the excessive wind noise and wind buffeting...
The wind is loud but not outrageous, I think it's on par with many race helmets, no buffeting thou. All in all, I wear earplugs and that fixes the problem. I need Davie504 to come play the bass, I'm not worth it, 🤣🤣
Hi man, thanks for the review! I just bought the helmet and have the same issue with a wind noise as you except I have currently a Large size. Did you manage to swap the padding on a smaller size? If not, what would you recommend to do to mitigate the wind noise going through, except using earplugs etc? The wind is very irritating me especially for the price range we pay. Thanks for the answer! Matt
Hi Matt, now that is winter I’ve been using a neck tube and that seams to attenuate the wind noise a bit, when summer rolls around I’ll see if I can buy a thicker neck roll. Good luck and ride safe.
I suspect that the helmet is not actually 100% carbon fibre. The visor is probably polycarbonate. The straps are probably nylon. The pads might be cotton with some rubber, etc. Otherwise, very nice review, thank you.
Matte or Gloss? 🤔 I can't make my mind up which looks more authentic carbon Vs pretentious carbon? I cannot see it in person due to COVID. Please advise what everyone thinks? Matte or Gloss?

Prego Mike 😀👍
WOW!!! Very nice. I have the K3 but its been time for a up grade to a module. Pluse I have the Max replica. Great video, thanks!
Thank you Mz K, the modular is very convenient 👍

Mine has 1390 gr., size L, wife has S, wich is 1350 gr. Its a little lie but it wont get any lighter with a modular.
i used open face and modular helmets before and im in S size, now planning to buy AGV sport modular but my forhead is 56.5 and S is 55-56.
really nice review.
Be safe and have a Merry Christmas. Let's see some off road action sometime.
Will do Rick, Merry Christmas
Love the helmet Al
So do I, the more I wear it the more I like it.

Hi Ramon, yes it comes with 2 interchangeable chin inserts.

@@AlbesADV If you like one of those instruments just keep playing it. Anything you can practice. You can master. Believe in yourself..

Just bought this for $380!!!!!!!! At that price I can deal with the flaws.
I agree and that's a great price 👍
Hello, I'm thinking of buying this helmet, how is the sound insulation? I'm driving a bmw f850 GS and it has a front windbreaker.
Not bad at all for a modular helmet. Quieter than a race helmet slightly louder then a proper touring helmet
Wow it is really light comparing to shoe neotec 2 I recently bought. It is 1.800 gram intercom is included.

Gets a lot worse in turbulente. Otherwise mine is bearable WITH earplugs, of corse! Found no other remedy.

I think you might be right, I noticed the D rings being cold and shiny just like metal...🤣
Thanks for watching 😀 👍

Mine is gloss and it looks fantastic, especially in the sun
