In your opinion would these offer better lighting for A roll than a couple of large rectangular soft boxes with a single powerful white Phillips bulb inside?
Love the video man! I have been debating between this and the Neewer 2 Packs 528 LED Video Light solely on the fact that I could adjust the lights via my phone that could come in handy when streaming, would you recommend I get the 528 or the 660, appreciate any response, thanks!
Thank you brother I really appreciate it! Personally, I have not tested out the 528’s so take my opinion with a grain of salt. For me, other than in app control the lighting should be very similar as far as in video results are concerned. If you are planning on ceiling mounting the lighting I can see that feature being really nice. Otherwise I think the 660 will do the truck for you. I have been personally using the 660’s in all of my videos and love the results! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Is there a difference between these lights and the RGB ones? Is the white light the same on both ? I am trying to decide which ones to buy. The RGB are more expensive but if you get the same white brightness with the RGB I would go with them.
How important do you think consider the softboxes you can purchase seperately from the lights (or bundled together in a package)? Do they make the Newer lights significantly better than if you don't have them?
just a note for anyone watching this and planning to buy: it'd probably work out cheaper (might need to calculate for yourself!) to buy the lights and then get the separate stands which would make it cheaper!
Hi! Can you please suggest me a set up of these lights(set of 2) for a tasty style overhead cooking video with a mobile? I have a GODOX 308LED light as well. I am getting quite harsh shadows on the cooking pots.
My 99 cent store sells these round aluminum cone lights for $6 each. They come with on-off switch, rubber clip-on grabbers and 6 ft plugs. I put 60 watt bulbs, and taped disposable styrofoam plates in front to turn them into soft lights Phenomenal lighting for around $25 !!!!!
I actually have a newer video on my channel about a diffusion soft box made specifically for these led panels. If you want to go check it out I left the link to the product in the video description.
Hey for the $130 I spent on it, I am thrilled! Luckily I don’t anticipate needing to transport them very often, so I may get away with the flimsy light stands for a while. lol
Oh snap! Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta for the epic win! Awesome review brother. When I purchase these lights, I'll definitely get it from your affiliate link.
I know Im randomly asking but does someone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost the login password. I love any tips you can offer me
@Drew Preston thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thanks for the tips. As a channel that usually works outside, we haven't had to think about lighting as much. However, with the current situation and our regular type of vlogging on hold until further notice, we may try some home vlogs and your tips will be useful.
Natural lighting can be some of the best lighting for video! The only challenge is keeping it consistent. Especially if you are filming over long periods of time. I have caught myself spending days trying to film b-roll because the sun was moving or it became overcast. Thanks for watching! 😁
I only started making videos about a year and a half ago. The other thing is I was on and off in the beginning as I was trying to figure out the channel identity. The lack of consistency on my part when I started didn’t help me grow. Even now, I am constantly trying to put out the best possible videos and sometimes it takes me a while to film/edit them. I think I personally need to be more efficient in my filmmaking process so I can get more videos out in a shorter amount of time!
@@boxiii My only suggestion for you. People don't give a shit about small details, especially in videos. If the video gets the point across then you got yourself a good video.
I appreciate the feedback! my main goal is to grow this channel and be able to do more videos! Part of that is making content that my viewers really enjoy and get value out of. I will definitely keep that in mind moving forward.
thanks for reviewing! picked up a 3 piece set! ... What's with the noise in the vid though? I'd say you had enough light up in there to drop that iso the floor. Keep the good stuff coming!
You forgot one more thing that makes a great YT video ... NORMALIZED audio, just can’t stand having to turn up and down the volume every time you go to shots with voiceover and then back again ... argh, when are ppl going to get that!
Been using these for 5 years now, love em.

I just bought them and I open your video to know how to set them. Thsnk you for your video, keep going.

is it possible to connect them with flash kits?
What level on the neewer 660 do you set the brightness for the key light...also for 3200k, what approximately do you set the white/yellow knob?
Neewer also makes heavy-duty stands at a very reasonable price, they are the ones to buy.
Richard Paddington Yes, I was just looking into that! Thanks for the tip!
Hi :)
Thank you for this video! It's great!
I have a question: Can the led panel burn out? If so, is there an option to replace it?
just a note for anyone watching this and planning to buy: it'd probably work out cheaper (might need to calculate for yourself!) to buy the lights and then get the separate stands which would make it cheaper!

Nice
Dude, how do I change the channel of these lights for individual remote control? Thanks for the great video
Do you think they are too harsh on the skin without a softbox?
Damn this video and audio is TOP NOTCH
Great video, man 👍
Thank you! I’m so happy you enjoyed it!
whats the best way to add more diffusion to these?

Great kit, but yes, definitely worth replacing the light stands when possible! 😎

I just got mine today! Great video, loved the lighting tips too!
What a great video, I have a set of 2 lights, and they are great and not very expensive 👍 I had to come over and watch another one 👍 my Friend
I appreciate that! These lights are pretty awesome for the price! Thanks for watching!

I appreciate it brotha! Thanks for watching!
Hi, how bright are these?
As a youtube this helps me a lot thanks man!
Glad you got so much value out of this video! Thanks for watching!
Just got these a couple of weeks ago. Haven't had the chance to use them to create a video yet, but I look forward to it. Thanks for the tips!
This helped me out tremendously! I just bought these and I'm going to use these for my piano videos. Thank you!
That is great! I am so happy you found value in this video! Thanks for watching!
How did you like them?
I know Im randomly asking but does someone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?

Love all the lighting tips! Thank you!
How's this channel so unpopular man?
I appreciate that! Thank you for watching and supporting!
That was an actual question man.

Did you like them and can you use the 3rd light as a Back light
There is no LCD screen at the back of the panel
That’s a crazy good deal because I paid over 600 for mine
Yes! It’s crazy how hardware drops in value over such a short period of time!
Out Of The Box oh mine isn’t made by neewer. They didn’t even have those until recently
I must have a older or newer version of these. On mine, one knob controls white brightness and the other the yellow brightness.
Good to know! Thanks for watching!
You can't compare hard light vs led light that you have limited flexibility on. A bit silly. But keep up.
I appreciate your thoughts! Thanks for watching!
Imagine trashing the stand at this price point...
