CHECK OUT MY NEW VIDEO • Homemade Log Splitter ... homemade log-splitter 30 ton. sylinder from a container truck. Norway. Now i have made a new knife that splitts into 12.
The 10 thumbs down are just jealous. I love the multi splitter,it looks like my apple cutter.Yes this is a female commenting but i'm as impressed as you guys and NEED this splitter. I know the Gum Trees here in Australia are hard,i'de like to think this would cut them like butter.
the plans where in my head. i doesent have some drawings or something. started with the wheels and axle and then woorked out of it. if I have started today on a new one it had certainly looked different from the one i have made.
Nice vid. Nice machine. However, it would be complete with a demonstration of the overhead cylinder and the switcheroo between blades. If you now have a 12, do we count 12 plus 4 or 12 plus 8. ?? Thanx
An great but dangerous splitter. Why not just tie a chain or rope to the cover of the PTO,stop it turning, numerous fatal accidents here in Ireland from PTO`s like that. Hope no one gets caught in it.
I have a log splitter that I bought am trying to build a attachment for making kindling because it is just a pain to make and if I could do it with my log splitter it would save me a lot of labor.
@gylland229 nice job. I was wondering if the price of heating oil is very high in Norway like it is in the US?? Is that why people in Norway burn wood??
this is one of the best log splitters I have ever seen!
this is probably one of the best i have seen on here. Great job
Works great, and being on the farm you have the tractor for the PTO. Great choice
Nice splitter, it’s working great👍
I’ watched this video a few times before making my own splitter.
All you want now is a machine to stack the split logs. Great Machine I want one :0)
That's not a log splitter, that's an entire freakin' processing plant! Nice job!
Nice idea on the rails for the wedge.

Wow... don't get your face stuck in there! Nice job! The steel used on the ram is pretty stout!
used a grinder to get it sharp. the steel is harddox so its very hard.

Yeah ok now I'm convinced I've been thinking too small.

looks good wonder how would work with red oak ?? Like the wedge setup
Birch splits easy, run some oak through and to or Elm ??

ive seen plenty of 30 and 40 ton splitters for sale. I wonder if they could be fitted with a splitting head like that one.
What a great machine do you have/make a plan for me so that i can build it too.

Legit AF.
i want one of those for my 2 cords of wood.
