I just subscribed, my dad was building a 67 Camaro in the mid to late 80's he kept bringing home doner cars for every part imaginable. He was well driller and had access to heavy equipment, dug a hole and buried the remains in the back yard behind the house I grew up in. There's at least 4 Camaro corpses in that hole. Many hours of blood sweat and tears tearing those cars apart to make one. Great job, awesome attention to details. Brings back so many memories. I'm looking forward to watching this build. Keep up the great work.

You're making this look too easy. Most viewers probably don't realize the amount of time and planning involved in this process in order to achieve these results. Nice work!

Thank goodness you had the windshield. Imagine welding the "A" pillar in and finding out later that it was wrong. Also, I am blown away by how much more metal and welding is involved in a Camaro as opposed to a mustang, Night and day. Great progress and I look forward to your next update

Really enjoying your videos. Wanting to undertake a project but maybe not quite to this scale. Why do I enjoy the sounds of welding?

I hope you are feeling ok Barry, your breathing is sounding labored. The Camaro is looking good. It’s such a great feeling welding in the structure, you can feel the rigidity increase with every weld.

Enjoy your vids. Do you think you will ever be able to line up all the panels in the rear since there are no reference points? I always thought one should remove and replace one panel at a time.

Under ideal circumstances yes but it doesn't always work out that way. After removing a panel for replacement the panel below that may need replacement as well. Or two panels need to be removed to fix a third.

I will get it lined up. Unfortunately, the panels were removed before I got the car. I like to do one side at a time, and keep some of the metal in place as reference points.

Great video one question did you miss the weld on the wheel house for that brace, and thanks for your service to this nation thumbs up 👍.

Not sure which brace you mean, but there are several places I haven't welded yet.

Barry the weld I was asking about is at 5.02 minutes into the video on the flange I think is for the package tray.

Looking good. Welding the top of that rocker reminds me of welding in the vert inner rockers on the mustang. Not a comfortable position to weld in...

Well, I started the first video about 8 years ago. But I really started working on it a couple months ago. Not spending all my time working on it every day though.
