Nice videos! If I only new you had this channel! I just finished Med and preparing for the final exam (the system is different over here), anyway, an App I find to be usefull is Medscape, lots of informations organised accordint to specialties and also drug dosing and similar things, and you can even use it offline. Maybe you already use it, but for me it was very helpful each time I couldn't remember something and needed a quick answer! Good luck with your study!
Hey Chris, Just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos, keep them coming! Would you consider making a video about a "day in the life of a medical student", basically from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed, hours spent studying, etc...? Thank, Daniel
I really enjoy your videos, so useful! I was wondering if you could do one on the interview you have to get into medical school? Tips, how to prepare, etc. Thank you :-)
i'm a big flashcard kinda studier too but i use evernote. now evernote isn't designed to be a flashcard type of application but if you arrange the screens right you can use it as such and it has the added bonus of keeping everything you've ever learned extremely organized. just my suggestion.
What stylus did you use to take handwritten notes on the first document you showed? It's thin and looks like real handwriting which is the opposite of the one I have and find annoying.
Hi Thompson, It is great that you are willing to share studying tips to everyone. I'm Dung. I am in Nursing School. I have a lot of EBooks that my school recommend to go through. Do you have any tips that is about reading Ebook effectively? I look forward to hearing from you soon, Thompson. Thank you for reading, Dung
Sorry to bother you but you said that you LISTEN to your lectures on your iPad, the lecture feeds are given to you when you pay your tuition? Just wondering because I am a registered nurse who happens to be POOR but I crave more
yingandyangliving it is normal for med students at my school to enroll in "work study" which is kind of like a mix between government grants and a part time job working for the university. I don't know anyone who actually works regular hours somewhere else, hope that helps
A great application you might want to implement into your work flow is called 'AnyDo'. It's a time management software. It allows you to schedule out what you need to do today, tomorrow, later in the week, and someday. It allows you to keep track of your to-do list for any school work, projects, dinners, etc., but with a more organized and approachable way of completing tasks. I've used this for the past year and it is great. Has helped with my organization big time. I don't really give reviews often, but seems like a good thread to post it. Check it out. Just saw your channel. Great stuff man.
Oops! Crave more learning experiences and if that means listening to lectures I'M EXTREMELY INTERESTED. Thank you for the app suggestions that is very kind of you.
I used Notability too when I was still using an iPad. Great app! :) Personally though, I think the best tablet for medical student is the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1! :D
Hi Calxxx - I am busy trying to decide between the iPad air2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1...going into my final year of medical school.... why do you say the Note is better?
J Klaz Hey! Reasons why I loved my Galaxy Note more than my iPad. 1) Multitasking option which enables me to open multiple ebooks and read multiple references at once. 2) The stylus which comes with the note (well, you can still get one for an iPad anyway) 3) Easier file transfer from other devices thru bluetooth and USB file sharing. :) I used an iPad mini when I had to get my Note fixed and I was pretty happy with it. It was light weight and very handy. The iPad series has better camera quality, too! I'm suggesting that if you decide on getting an iPad, you might want to get the mini instead. (I'm back to using my Galaxy Note, btw) :P Good luck choosing which to buy!

Do you use a stylus during lectures in notability? If so, what kind?

Can you share your collected documents of the med subjects with us medical students?
what school do you go to if you dont mind me asking?
Great video. The problem that I have with iPad or any eDevice is the screen. I hate looking at screens. It also affects my sleep at night.
Is it normal for medical students to work part time?

Just wondering what flashcards app that is
How many gigs on an iPad do you suggest? Entering medical school in the fall of 2015 and contemplating getting an iPad.
32
Regarding notability, when you backup a file on dropbox can it be edited from another device in order to take notes?
can you give more information on your flashcard app?? i tried to find it on the app store but haven't had any luck.
+Randy Aguayo I'm afraid it might not have seen an update in too long, they could have pulled it from the app store
What's the name of the app that you use to listen to your lectures? By the way i enjoy alto your videos
I think it was called iCatcher

During his presentation he opens up his lectures his school offers him and it says KCOM (Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine)
if you have HTC phone it comes with 25 or 26GB on Dropbox for free!!!
One of the best apps for tablet = netter atlas. The search feature will save you tremendous amounts of time.
