His father maybe Portuguese not African patriarch, yes his maternal line may be African but the lighter their skin tone they maybe classified as white not black under their Brazilian government’s racial classifications compared to how race is classified in the U.S. or Portugal or rest of Europe.
I enjoy the content that's consistently offered by this channel. I would like to offer a suggestion though, your content that isn't produced in English which contain subtitles is a little difficult to watch because of the size and color of the subtitles. The small fonts are sometimes hard to read especially when the white lettering blends with a light background. Perhaps a simple change in font color could correct this?
I honestly don't understand why people have it out so severely for the black race..there's nothing anyone could possibly say to justify it. People need to leave these people alone! People of the African diaspora need to unite!
its almost like there should be a black homeland for people to go. a place ruled by there own. if people would just stop trying to live in other peoples homelands.
It’s a status. It has nothing to do with complexion. We have to stop using colors to define us as a people and go back to our national appellations. When you call yourself black you’re calling yourself dead in the eyes of the law. In law black is a dead status. These definitions were defined long before the colonist after gaining control in the America’s, placed the terminology onto us as a people. The narrative that we all came on slave ships from Africa is a lie, the great Masonic secret, we keep the lie alive by claiming a narrative giving to us by the oppressor. My family and I are indigenous to the Americas, north, central, and south. We are heavily melaninated and most of you claiming to be black descendants of slaves are not because your ancestors were already here as well. The people that was already here were the people by majority that were enslaved. My race is Asiatic and my nationality is Moorish American. Our ancestors are in the treaties and laws of the land and most of us know nothing about them for a devious reason to keep the majority of us confused. As indigenous people we have the right to govern ourselves and our land and our commerce. But we must organize our own government body politics under our national appellations. That includes Brazil. The answers are simple.
Skulls are more prognathic in one group than another generally.
Its not based on logic, Its instinctual. Ethnic conflict/competition is hardwired in the animal core of the human mind to fear "the other" due to tribalist thinking and perceived scarcity of land/resources. And because skin pigmentation is a very visible difference between light and dark skinned people, conflict, resentment, etc. is inevitable. @@jaobyeden4143 lmao tell me you're brainwashed without telling me you're brainwashed. America doesn't even rank number 1 in education, Healthcare, infrastructure, infant mortality, paid paternity/maternity, it's ranks low on human rights and human dignity and doesn't even rank in the top 10 for freedom of press. Even Americans that were born and raised in America and have never lived in a different country will tell you it's not the greatest country on Earth. I'm from Texas and live in Germany, I have no desire to go back to America, yes that's right, I prefer living my life in a country where Nazism was created than to live in America. There are at least 100 other countries that are better than America lmfaoooooo
Anyone else had a feeling that sooner or later in the video there was going to be some singer and you knew it was going to be rapper promoting his music, If Brazilian rappers spoke and rap in English some of them could breakthrough into the U.S.
At my Univeristy in USA, we had a club that connected African Americans / AfroLatinos in the USA and a place of worship of Candomble in Bahia. It was wild hearing what they faced from evangelical community near them.
Brazil is complicated cuz even people with African ancestry can be seen as White Brazilians.. The racial system is so different than the US. So you see a lot more blurred lines with who considers them Black.
We need to see accountability and justice for Black Brazilians. I feel for the mama in the beggining and wow the connection to violence against black folk in US. Just wow
ANYTHING RELIGIOUS IS RACIST AGAINST BLACK PEOPLE ANYTHING THAT IS HOLISTIC NATURAL AND OR ANCESTRALLY SPIRITUAL IS SACRED SINCERITY OF BLACK CULTURE
Study thyself! Pax et amore!
@@elzidanbey1172 Fact vs Fiction. Your thoughts are already prob very cemented in your head and you prob found an online community that supports your viewpoint of Black people being indigenous Americans, but historically it is false. We have clear connections to our West African lineage.

They Know The Real & First Brazilian Was Darkskinned With Afro Hair That Grow To The Sun Not The Ones With Slick Hair
Not very successful at this whole "genocide" thing, are they now?
Let's not forget the history of Brazil and racial eugenics in the 20th century.
@Puppy Lover genocide is genocide. Wtf is a "real genocide" does that mean there's such thing as a fake genocide? ...mmm perhaps if you ask a white supremacist they'll have you convinced they're being brutally murdered & replaced all over the world!
@Puppy Lover in school pupils are taught that genocide is genocide and there's no such thing as a fake genocide. Stop acting like an ignoramus.
@Puppy Lover that is completely false. The Americas include all of Latin America and Canada as well. The native Indigenous populations still haven't recovered from genocide are the most marginalized followed by Black People and if you even cared to look closer you'd see genocide in many different countries in the Americas. But you don't care because you think there's such thing as a fake genocide.
How can this be happening when black and mixed are the majority?
They should stop singing, carnival, dancing and all that rubbish and fight for their rights.
This situation is shameful.
Get guns and fight them.
In South Africa whites are 8 percent of the population and control everything they even select the leaders. Imagine if the black Brazilians focus on their rights??
Yeah and the Amerindians are targeted just as much if not more
take this bs somewhere else!!
People love to come to Brazil to celebrate Olympus but the Poverty be surrounding it
I’m sorry but humans rights are little to no Existence in Brazil wasting y’all time folks brazil isn’t America
America isn't much better, it's just different and more systematic
So why was the kids uncles home raided? Was he a criminal?
he was a “drug lord” , their words not mine
Brazil is majority black due to the one drop rule
exactly these people loove to label mixed race people as only “black”
2 types of white supremacy. Best examples are the usa and Brazil. Many dont know the history. Usa racism is based on apartheid segregation. Brazilian racism is based on miscegenation. The U.S. stance on their Black population used to be segregation and separation. Then FDR took a trip to Brazil and realized that segregating the Black population of the usa would create a problem for the whites. The usa study of Brazilian race relations is what started the civil rights movement. The Brazilian stance on racism used to be miscegenation and eugenics. But it didn't work for them. So now you see Brazil becoming like the usa, segregation and separation.
My Afro-Brazilian bros & sis, yall better start using that Candomble and Macumba for defensive purposes too. The Orixas will help you but if you keep being docile then they won't. Maferefun Ogum.
