I didn't notice this but my husband noticed it right away! We were thinking it had to do with marking where the dice were rolled or something? Like it was denoting some sort of change like that. Because the movie definitely had the pacing like it was a series of "this or that" like the actual game.
Doesn't make sense that Chris Pine and Holga escaped the castle, yet they were already pardoned by the council. Why was the flyer out for them when they were already pardoned?
They assumed they wouldn't be pardoned. That was the comedic bit - they stupidly committed another crime when they could have been pardoned if they just waited to hear the verdict. 😂
The cast and their characters were the highlight of that movie all the way through. Great acting!
