I would prefer that bike over all other bikes. This thing is insane wanna see more of it. I owned a yamaha banshee 350 with 35mm mikuni carbs an dmc alien exhaust. This was awsome. That engine is a great one.
the bike that stopped me driving bikes, oh how i loved my lc, back in 1994 i got my hands on a very unusual lc, non-stock,pipes, carbs, heads, pistons, and it looked a mess, all hand built, but jesus christ it would pull your arms off, would pop into wheelies in third if you where not careful with the throttle, it ate cogs alive, it would go through 4/6 a year, i even tried gearing it down a little which helped, but yea, the thing was insane, so why did i stop driving bikes? a blow out at 210 kph, over 500 meters to stop, missed several vehicles and people, i let go of the bars 3 times to jump and it stood up straight. when i finally stopped and got off i just sat staring at it and said to myself, that was all 9 lives used up in one go, i think it's time to stop, a truck driver actually came over and shook my hand and said well done son, i said bollox, i was just a passanger. i walked her home and never drove a bike again. i still swaer to this day, that bike almost killed me several times that night and saved me at the same time, an incredible bike, there handling was something else. so very well balanced, almost felt like a dirt bike at times. this video sent chills down my spine, same colour, same sound, i belt the same smell too, god i miss bikes and also glad i stopped.
Wow ,yeah they are awesome bikes , i also did a ride video on a 350lc, such good memories (and maybe not so good) of these bikes..love hearing peoples stories of their bikes.. yeah a lucky escape , which I have had many 😂😂 but for me I just couldn’t live without them , but glad you are hear to tell the tale :)

Thank you so much for the experience you are sharing! I "grew up" with the RDs. My first one was a 250RD LC, later at least five 350 YPVS, with race trim. A superbike-killer at those times, when it goes with corners. In the mountains, with many, many corners, we (some friends of mine, 2:45 2strokelovers) hadn't a single passover in weeks (The alps, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria) by other bikes. We made the overtakings, in every situation. That's the truth.
@@ProjectMoto Like the chap who owns the bike, I raced a Yamaha RD 350 LC in the early eighties. Oulton, Cadwell, Aintree and Three Sisters. The grids were always packed. At Oulton, for example, there would be 45 young nutters on 350s, in a haze of blue smoke, waiting for the lights to go green so they could have the greatest tear up of their lives. Ridiculously good fun and relatively cheap and easy to do. I'd love to own one again.

Always wondering why all modified bikes must have Brembo calipers. That is expensive crap. Or in other words it is either crap or expensive. I equip all my mods if possible with this single piece Sumitomos like on Yamaha R1. Way better for peanuts ...
guess its just personal preference or what sort of money you want to spend, personally I've always found Brembo callipers good on the bikes that i have ridden, but then most modern brakes are good ...and anything is an improvement on brakes from years ago, but then i like an old bike if its standard with original brakes as they suit the bike, but when you start making them faster and handle better, better suspension you def need the brake upgrade, any brake upgrade
