Great Video, there are very few builds on this gen of colorado and it is a pain in the ass to get ideas for mine. One thing... you are getting a lot of movement because you used U bolts to fix the whole thing in place. If you ever plan to do a new one from scratch, I would advise you to make the supports in a way they bolt directly to the frame in a fix3d position and use thick square tubing to brace both ends together. It might take a lot more work to do it that way, but in the end it will make your truck stiffer, it will allow it to take more beating and it will give you significantly more protection in case of collision. Believe me, that truck going 30 km/h into a dip you didnt see and crashing straight into the ground is a lot of force and you dont want airbags deploying nor the steel bumper going into your radiator or wheels or anything else. And yes, you should leave gaps between 6 and 10 mm between the bumper and the body/headlights to be safe anyway.
Great rebuild of the bar, it looks great! One question, does the bar and light bar, block airflow through the intercooler? I have a black ARB bar on my RG and after seeing yours, I'm thinking about going white when it needs respraying.
Hey man, love the vids. Quick question, I'm trying to build a custom offroad/camper crv gen 4 and I need help fabricating a modern styled bullbar. Literally no one has done this before so it's one of a kind on this model haha. Any chance I could get some assistance of some sort? Could even use it for a video idea 🙃
Looking for a lift in my collie, what lift kit are you running in yours? Also, Your car looks absolutely beast with everything you have done to it so far, loving all the work you have put in to it
Thanks man, I appreciate it! My setups abit mix and match and will be changing soon but I’ve got upgraded factory height springs on almost new dmax factory struts with 2” strut spacers in the front. And in the rear I’m running factory shocks and shackles with 300 kg 2” lifted leafs. Im not happy with how it all handles and will be chucking a proper lift at it soon
Just started watching you the other day man, keep up the good work can’t wait for more vids
Appreciate it!

That’s sick 👌
Hows ur insurance now though?? Will become void as your bar has been modified and doesn't meet ADR compliance
