  • I made this 1 whole second too long go be a #short and didn't notice! What a putz! It's the fourth in what was supposed to be a series of short videos showing our new shop floor and putting the shop back together.

    That is just so cool! Man, I wish my floor was like that or, even flat would be good! LOL! This is going to be so great to walk into that first time. Enjoy, my friend! 😊

    Looking good Gord! I dod this in my basement shop almost 10 years ago by myself. You are much wiser than I hiring people!

      Not wise! There are some things that my back can’t do anymore. I have to get used to hiring others and delegating when possible. Thanks for watching!

    That’s a mighty fine looking floor, Gord! It should allow you to keep the place cleaner and easier to clean.

      Yes, I am, Bill. I have enough trouble with my back without trying to do something like that. Glad you liked it, my friend.

    They make it look easy! A squeegee and a roller/texturer of sorts?

      @GordonRock1  ปีที่แล้ว

      They do make it look easy! That’s what they were using. Give me the same tools and I would make a heck of a mess! 😳😳😳

    I missed why this became necessary, Gord:: was it weather related or just wear and tear? I did my newly built floor to make it nonslip, finishing it with red garage paint to pretend it was not so cold in winter! Sorry to read about ongoing health problems; fortunately many cancers can be overcome these days. I've lasted 15y and my wife 22y (prostate and skin respectively), so just keep looking forward. Bernard.

      It was wear and tear, Bernard. The floor was chipping badly, and the dust was ridiculous. This should alleviate both of those problems. I’m happy to know that you are free of cancer, my friend. I don’t expect it to be an ongoing problem. My doctor is very positive about this. Thank you for your concern!

    No “John Deere Green” flakes available? …

    • @GordonRock1

      Yes, Mark, they are but my wife only lets me get away with so much! 😢😢 Even without the green I’m very happy with it. 😁😎😁

    Floor looks fantastic. I’m curious to know if it’s slippery when wet?

    • @GordonRock1
      @GordonRock1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a great question, Greg. I had not thought of that. I took a glass of water and poured it on the floor to find out. I walked on it and also rubbed my shoe on the wet area and could detect no difference between the wet and dry areas. I'm glad you asked. It's good to know that it will be safe to walk on even when wet. Thanks for asking and I'm glad you like the way it looks!
      Take care,

      @@GordonRock1 good to know. I wonder if it’s the flakes that are providing the traction?
