Well they never cheat the game, so you must be doing something wrong to not get those numbers. Are you using evasion mantle? Because that will give a boost to attack. Do you have all the same skills? Do you have the same augments? Is you Palio buffing you? The here are many factors to consider. So test and see, and soon you will have those numbers.

Due to the high attack in buffs and motion value only thing stronger was hame runs and relic weapons in some match ups. Please know what your talking about to start a conversation please.
Biggest number I ever hit with Lance was around the 500 but that was with a HH.. I'd never guessed to see a 600+ solo hit land either. But this set is very specific, props to the player tho. I assume they used a plugin to see the flinch threshold atleast? otherwise it's a very labbed out fight to know where to stop the damage on the head to get a flinch on the next hit
Well TDS are very meticulous when it comes to their hints. They usually never use mods, unless visual. And they have played many MH games. They are Veterans when it comes to MH. So it’s no surprise that they would know the frame of hits for flinching monsters.
@@R3LOADlikesgames Well the thing is with flinching that when you deal too much damage you eat a trip basically because you filled the trip/flinch threshold while it was downed so you'd have to redo said damage. just for this case since it's such deliberate stopping of attacks which I also do when I play with the plugin that allows me to see those thresholds. It's not that using them makes you less worthy of compliment this hunt was well done. the only thing i don't get about the reply is "they would know the frame of hits" which sounds weird since you don't have to hit them at a specific time to flinch them. you have to hit a certain amount of damage on a part to reach a flinch. let's say it's 800 and you deal 1599 damage, 1 trip/flinch is eaten but as it gets and ends the flinch/down animation you can flinch it again dealing just 1dmg if you so want to. I use this to my advantage in fatalis hunts where I know I am at the head break threshold and shoot a stone at the face when I need a down. TLDR: the hunt good

I just wanted to know if this was achieved with a nice lil plugin to lab it out or if it's done through sheer amount of attempts that it became automatically ingrained

Btw fatalis gunlance is op, doing slaplance can do like 600-700 with just agi7 peak3, crit stuffs and tenderize with the slap attack. And the wyvernstake actually dealt serious amount of damage. I could get like 3000 damage easily in one combo, possibly more.
Frostcraft isn’t ice damage. It’s simply a damage increasing set bonus. When fully filled up, Frostcraft give a 30% attack damage bonus. But every attack lowers the bar. That’s why Frostcraft sets will usually entail sheathing a lot, as a sheathed weapon with regain its Frostcraft meter a lot faster than when drawn.
Basically yes; three high thrusts and reset with charge thrust, repeat. However, it's my understanding that the difference of damage between that and a hop reset or counter-thrust reset is marginal. Also the charge-thrust is low and often cannot hit the head/optimal hitzones if the monster isn't down. So for us mortals who aren't speed-runners, the other two options that leave you less open to counterattack and let you block sooner thereafter, are likely better/safer options. Better to have more uptime with a slightly lower DPS combo, than lose DPS getting knocked down (or even cart) with a riskier combo.
@@kevinferdian746 Generally Lance is raw focused especially with them nerfing that ele mod in Iceborne so I usually dont build Drag attk unless im running a Safi set for Alatreon, was just curious since I saw it pop up. I avoid the ATs usually so must be why I didnt realize it was a set by poduct.
Frostcraft deals more damage the more the blue bar is filled. First bar is 10%, second and third bar give 20%, and the fourth bar gives 30% extra damage. That’s why you will see lots Frostcraft greatsword sets because with Crit Draw and Frostcraft, a draw attack charged up to lvl 3 will deal 800-900 damage. (With Critical boost as well)

New Challenge: Fatalis without weapons. Only slinger and the Canons, balista, etc.

Frost craft meter. At full your attacks are plus 30% then 20% and with one bar your at plus 10%. Sheathing your weapon refills the meter.

As a lance main, the weapon is not op and will never be in iceborne. Unfortunately, the script hard carry the weapon.
