hullowww PLEASE READ, IMPORTANT!!!
i think there have been some updates so if u follow this tut the top black part won't appear when u publish it.
when i added the text to the container, i changed the opacity so that the text wasn't visible right? but now that won't work T^T
Follow these steps instead:
>> Do not change the opacity of text
> add text
> drag it to the container
> change text alignment to left (since we have the colour part on the left)
> now your text should be in the same colour as the gradient colour (in this video the top part was black so the colour of the text i used was also black)
> this should hide your text since the bg and text are of the same colour and your text is in front of the colour part, if not then adjust the settings so that your text hides

omg i did exactly all the things that you did but when i published it the on top black colour thingy wont show on the carrd website (not the edit one the published one) :(
okay so i tried doing it again and this happened to me as well?? 😭
I'll try to figure this out and get back to u as soon as i can (if I'm able to figure it out that is)
OMG I FIGURED IT OUTBWJNANAN
okay so, basically what i did was change the opacity of text to 0 right, now they've kinda prolly updated so it doesn't work anymore. But what i did now is that i changed the alignment of text to left since the colour part was on the left so the text came of top of the black part and wasn't visibly anymore because the back is black and the text is black so yeah :))
