The councils like to take opportunity to destroy green spaces to build houses , extra profit things like mentioned and it's not right tbh these places should be protected . Interesting to see it was a gasworks

My grandad William Wood was a Legger on the Dudley Canal and later worked at the canal/railway interchange at Netherton. My father lived in Cherry Orchard until he joined the Irish Guards.
