Right. But there's pros and cons. The reality is that Warzone needs to be similar to fortnite in the way of keeping all your microtransactions. Even the fact that Warzone 1 wiped all your purchases should've been illegal. Idc if the game becomes bloated. If you purchase a blueprint to a gun, they shouldn't just erase that gun from the next game or they could allow players to move that blueprint design to a new weapon.

@8TFour the problem is that WZ2 was trash from the beginning and for some reason they decided to keep building on top of this horribly faulty foundation (I'll give you 1 guess what that reason is. If they ever could make Blackout 2 with the same love they made the og Blackout, but just make it free like Warzone, I think that would set some CoD records. Even the people who didn't like Blackout all that much when it came out tend to realize nowadays how good it actually was. The map was fantastic, the guns were great, the visuals were fantastic. Gunplay was sharp and not unnecessarily "realistic" with a thousand camera animations that make you wanna vomit. I really miss Treyarch's old engine.
They need to either drop WZ or make it its own game entirely. Just the fact that Urzikstan is still here while being able to play Area 99, no new Big Map at launch for the current title, and the way MP feels sometimes, I’m not going to ever play WZ. Also all the old guns coming back? Weird.
They did specify for Resurgence. The blog post had max player counts listed under each mode, and Resurgence was listed as 44, 44, 45, 44, i.e. 44 players for solo, duos, and quads, but 45 players for trios. No reason to assume that the other modes won't have all four squad sizes returning.
No we are going to log in and see that it’s missing half the play lists like oh duos and quit again. I’ve not played Warzone since they took duos out of the game. Thanks cod for making me resent your product.
I actually hate the concept of seasons reload updates… just drop the damn content all at once. There was nothing more refreshing for cod games back in the day than getting home from school on a Friday and getting 4 maps and zombies map all at once with the new guns also
The solution to removing non-BO6 guns while keeping skins from other games would be to just move the skin to a gun from BO6 that resembles that older weapon and then applying the skin would just change the appearance of the BO6 gun.
Simplest solution to the weapon/skin problem. Every new game release let everyone keep their warzone skins. Wipe all weapons and attachments and only have the current games weapons and attachments. Maybe thats just too simple though
My thoughts are that they didn’t make and significant changes to big map because they were already working on the BO6 integration and therefor the updates weren’t worth it as they wouldn’t carry over. The playlists are a massive thing. I stopped playing once duos and trios went, so if they aren’t all available that’s going to be a massive issue. My guess is they will have solos, duos and quads for pubs, and trios for ranked on big map Hopefully the love for big map returns when verdansk returns.
I don’t get you guys. When caldera got reset and everyone lost their skins and guns folks were mad. Now they are keeping them folks are mad. Incorporating the wild card systems adds a level of a skill gap. Not everyone will be able to buy multiple load out to get two 8 attachment guns. Fully loaded for late zone regains just like og verdansk.
Integrating all cod games for the foreseeable future into warzone will be a memory nightmare, at some point they'll be forced to trim WZ down and that means losing a looot of cosmetics people bought. This one cod HQ shit was a mistake.
I like that overkill is going back to being a perk instead of just being there by default. It being by default just defeated the purpose of secondaries.
It is perfectly possible to have a lot of weapons in a game without clutter. Battlefield 4 released with 70+ weapons on release and relatively okay balancing to where all of them were somewhat usable. Problem with warzone is that it always gives up on the old game weapons without bothering to balance them. The old weapons dont need to be removed, they need one single good balancing patch thatll fix all of them...but they will never do it because its simply easier to do nothing then to do something xD. They also remove maps that dont deserve to be removed only to support old gen consoles on a late 2024 game...money is everything to them, as they are a business, so those players using 2013 hardware force anyone in the modern day to suffer a bit :)
@callofdutyfreak10123 yeah I don't even remember any of the guns in that game feels like every specialist class had a sniper and every "soldier" class or whatever had an m4
Why would they be launching the new map towards the end of 2025 when this franchise pumps out a new game every year? That makes no sense, now mw2 was supposed to be the game that lasted 2 years and they were going to release expansions. Instead they realized they could make a lot more money if they just took the expansion and made it a stand-alone game and called it MW3. I have heard nothing about them turning BO6 into a 2-year franchise, this company's greed is so prevalent that there is just no way that they are not going to put out another game next year at this time and make the previous one obsolete.
Just rotate guns in and out. Over the course of a mainline game's life, flatout remove certain guns for a certain period of time whilst adding in some of the older ones. Every season or so, mix it up. That way they can get us to use the new shiny guns, whilst also seeing what the Warzone meta is and tweak the older guns in the background. Feels like a pretty easy solution to the "how do we sort out 150+ guns?"
To me, taking away the inventory system makes no sense. Being able to store and use only one type of lethal or tactical is ridiculous when you're operating across a whole map with different ways needed to take on enemy combatants in different situations.
I think the wild card system looks good to me. Takes you back to a more strategic approach to getting your loadout. The main issue I think is the ability to be able buy weapons directly from the buy station.
wait so theyre removing warzone ranked from resurgence but forcing us to play a shitty version of the old big warzone map? wow thats insane, looks like I wont be playing ranked warzone at all anymore
Honestly, it would be a balancing nightmare to keep everything- but I think that’s kind of cool to have that much variety and what people are running as well as it lowkey feels like a fortnite creative game with how much guns there are
My CoD journey started with Caldera. And, cheaters aside, to my hands it played in a fairly ok way. WZ2 seemed like a massive departure from what people loved about it. I don’t think it’ll ever see its highs again that once were.
The whole point of the WZ2 release was to purge weapons and reset everything. Now they’ve made the exact same mistake again by including all weapons from 3 games!
I only play resurgence solo so I've been pretty pissed for months now. I'm not good enough to play solo against duos. I like the backpack since I got used to it. I like being able to quickly push my D pad down and store extra equipment
The "infatuation" of allowing people to use skins for years is to keep the paying population happy. If they were to tell people that the hundreds of whatever currency they spent would go down the drain when a new version of a game came out, they wouldn't be making as much money. If they have less profit, there is less development and so on.
one thing that really bothers me is the calling cards, since Warzone changes integration we lose the ability to earn realted calling cards from previous games
Ngl a good compromise would just be allowing us to keep our operator skins, that's all anyone really cares for They cost $20 a piece, least they can do is let me play as Graves in BO6 MP/Warzone for instance.
I find it hard to believe no one thought of the balancing issue. And I’d argue based on some of the content we’ve seen so far it’s evident they may have thought about it. Some of the variants already in the game are just a complete remodel of a different gun. For example the stg you get at like prestige 2. The stg from mw3 could just be a variant alongside every other variant for the gun it’s on (I forgot what it’s called I think it’s the L something). Every gun from mw2 mw3 could just be a skin of a new gun in bo6. Same stats and everything and you still have your skin but the balancing issue wouldn’t be there
I enjoy all the different skins, and at $20 a piece, im glad they are letting us keep them, and i think its cool having such a large selection of weapons to use. However, like you stated, it's going to cause a host of problems. At the end of the day i woukd be ok with a total reset.
Playing new wz rn, they kinda made most weapon attachments for the mw games have no downsides, and honestly the mw3 guns feel better than some of the bo6 guns
I really believe that warzone in its current state is perfect. The inventory system is perfect right now. The fact that everyone has overkill by default is perfect. The airstrike and mortar strike notifs are perfect. The balanced meta is perfect. Adding 8 attachments, bringing back overkill, is going to mess up the experience that sledgehammer and raven have been working on. I don’t get why they have to change everything
I dabble with BO6 currently (mainly campaign and zombies) because it's on Game Pass. BO4 was the last CoD I bought. But Warzone lost me right before Caldera came along and DMZ was the last mode that had me on most days until they announced ending support for it. By the time Verdansk drops next year I'll hopefully be sucked into Delta Force's extraction mode when it drops for console. Verdansk is good memories but it simply doesn't play the same anymore and I can't keep up with the cracked out kids
Doesn’t sound confusing at all. Just 3 games merged, like it should have been all along. I can’t wait. The blog post answered all your questions that weren’t already answered. We do know what modes we’re getting.

Idk man, I feel like S1 content was supposed to be release content. They just seem to be milking the idea that they’re adding so much when that was supposed to be in the base game while trying to push their vault editions/battle passes.
I’m a software developer, the people who write the code for the game, are not to blame for the stuff you just heard. The management is the one you should go after. They are truly mediocre.
It seems the BR experience is no longer what people like the most. You can tell by how they added gulag packs to loot and how easier it is now to escape the gulag instead of just 1v1 gunfights 🤷🏻♂️ I myself play resurgence but very rarely do I even touch BR...
This really highlights the issues with call of duty these days. I honestly don't know why they're trying to integrate ALL cod games from the past couples years in one massive warzone map with FAR too many weapons and not only that we're getting a worse version of Uzbekistan or whatever the map is called. Honestly the whole franchise needs a reset after Bo6 and they need to stop trying to bring out a new call of duty every single fucking year.
Pay attention to tactical brits aim. Notice anything, that he doesn't have, that most streamers do? No sticky, never leaveing your body, going wonky once you're dead, aim. Thanks for not cheating bro. It's refreshing to see!
I think I know why they want Avalon for next year. I think they want Verdansk Warzone to return players and Avalon to be a successful continuation that Caldera is haven't achieved.
They seriously have to separate Warzone from Multiplayer. Make Warzone Big map and Resurgence a stand alone game titled Warzone (obviously) under the call of duty franchise. This means COD can release it's $70 game every year without negatively affecting Warzone because it would be developed separately. It's free to play anyway to begin with. Just keep introducing the guns, battle pass, skins, and progressions the same across both titles. They keep trying to have Multiplayer, Zombies, Resurgence, and Warzone (BR), 4 completely different game modes all with massively different audiences under the same house and it's literally causing too many issues development wise. - Each year old bugs get's re-introduced back to the game. - Each year quality of life improvements added will be missing and will be introduced later as if it's a feature if not forgotten completely. - Each year the optimization goes back to zero and will have to be re-optimize again. Separating Warzone's development from multiplayer and making it a live service game like Fortnite and Apex has massive benefits to warzone. Because warzone is essentially a live service game that starts from scratch each year which doesn't make sense. Their tech and game engine is barely hanging in there supporting 4 massive game modes. Hell they can make Warzone use Unreal Engine if they wanted and focus on optimizing and supporting it instead of starting from scratch each year.
No "Invasion" or "Ground War" mode in BO6 has kind of turned me off on the game. As much as I hated the Caldera map, it still felt more like Warzone, visa vis Verdansk, than the last 2 maps with WZ2 & WZ3. I rarely play anymore, and neither does anyone I used to play with.

Ngl a good compromise would just be allowing us to keep our operator skins, that's all anyone really cares for
They cost $20 a piece, least they can do is let me play as Graves in BO6 MP/Warzone for instance.
As an OG cod 4 fan, I’m happy as long as warzone doesn’t get into my simple TDM matches
I can't use my Gunfighter Wildcard weapons in Warzone.. don't know if it's certain attachments or if it's just broken.
Ok I just thought about something. So if they add another gun to the Assault , that means Mastering to Diamond just got longer ?
Makes a lot of sense that guns from the late '80s to '91 are better than weapons after that 🤔🤷🏼♂️
I find it hard to believe no one thought of the balancing issue. Same stats and everything and you still have your skin but the balancing issue wouldn’t be there
I burst out laughing when you said the number.... LOL!
I enjoy all the different skins, and at $20 a piece, im glad they are letting us keep them, and i think its cool having such a large selection of weapons to use. However, like you stated, it's going to cause a host of problems. At the end of the day i woukd be ok with a total reset.
No more Fortunes Keep or Vondel?!? Area 99 looks too flat and Rebirth has had every last drop of blood squeezed from it
Verdansk is coming in the spring, they talked about this weeks ago on the cod podcast
Playing new wz rn, they kinda made most weapon attachments for the mw games have no downsides, and honestly the mw3 guns feel better than some of the bo6 guns
Also, contextual looting was pretty cool in MW2 and DMZ.
I clearly I see a blackout version 2025
15:16 As a KBM player I love seeing the aim assist instantly jump from one enemy to the next enemy, that isn't even visible, through the explosion.
Call Of Duty: "Making uncoordinated people with controllers feel like heroes, since 2003"
Tbh even though we have 2 returning maps won't be as bad when you consider the omni movement it will change the game in a variety of ways
Wait so are we getting MW3 Warzone with omnimovement and all the BO6 stuff... or are we getting BO6 Warzone with Big Map and Area 99. Are we in trouble?
How is as val now after change?
I've been playing counterstrike as of late and the thought of relaunching warzone kinda makes me sick
Idk man, I feel like S1 content was supposed to be release content. They just seem to be milking the idea that they’re adding so much when that was supposed to be in the base game while trying to push their vault editions/battle passes.
I could've sworn they listed all squad sizes for the integration.
I’m a software developer, the people who write the code for the game, are not to blame for the stuff you just heard. The management is the one you should go after. They are truly mediocre.
Gigasweats with 2 eight attachments guns sounds like fun.
It seems the BR experience is no longer what people like the most. You can tell by how they added gulag packs to loot and how easier it is now to escape the gulag instead of just 1v1 gunfights 🤷🏻♂️
I myself play resurgence but very rarely do I even touch BR...
I have no idea why they are bringing the old weapons across.
This was the perfect chance for them to reset and bring a new blackout BR, but they didn't. Kind of an L move on them.
I cant use any MW weapons, says i have to purchase a bundle to use them
The movement alone will destroy warzone, it's so broken and fast that casuals won't keep up.
Will the mw2/3 camos be useable on bo6 weapons ?
So, I'm not seeing anyone talking about this. Why is Cold War not in it anymore. Why are MW 1 and 2 grouped together, but 3 isn't grouped with them.
It hurts my heart that you sounded like you don’t remember the Saug from BO3.
Skipped over BO3 to be honest. I don't acknowledge jetpack cods
Someone needs to explain to me how the audio in this game is better than ever.
I honestly feel its worse than ever even with the universal audio
Pay attention to tactical brits aim. Notice anything, that he doesn't have, that most streamers do? No sticky, never leaveing your body, going wonky once you're dead, aim. Thanks for not cheating bro. It's refreshing to see!
Hi thanks for god vids! Whats your pc setup/specs? What do you recommend?
I think I know why they want Avalon for next year. I think they want Verdansk Warzone to return players and Avalon to be a successful continuation that Caldera is haven't achieved.
They just adjust the menu and it’s just 170 options for you to play as you want. That’s a pro, not a con.
Heres what they should do. Re add warzone to mw19 before cold war integration and leave it at that.
999999 guns, 5 worth using.
sounds like i won't be downloading warzone then. glad to know i can save some space.
Here after Area 99 got released by itself and still was a mess 😂
I never used overkill since they allowed us to buy our guns from buy stations back on mw2 2022 warzone
Will MP get some bigger maps/modes like ground war and invasion or something similar?
So...if mw2 is old engine no more free dmz in the new client??
