An abandoned property close to me had all kinds of these vintage machines. The old Polaris and Arctic Cat sleds with the rear mounted Kohler engines I really kick myself for not taking them. They also had the Hydrostatic drive Yamaha and an OMC Wide Track model with reverse The machine was a tank with its opposing twin and bogey suspension. There were so many more which got lost in my memory.

Our family is fortunate enough to own a 303 panther 72. We use it to pull the kids around with a cat cutter. Perfect combo. Greatest sounding engine.

I owned a 1974 433 GTX and it was quick. My Buddy had a 5500 Ski Doo and he never could beat me in a 600 foot race. Upset him many times. I picked it up for 300.00 and it needed a fuel tank. I patched it up and used it for a back up machine. Those sleds were really quick for their time.

What nobody talk's about,... with the Ski Whiz,... is that the hood was actually made to replicate the hood on the farm tractor's,... even with the black circle,... on the right side,... where on the tractor,... was a number to determine it's size (like the 165),... a lot of farmer's had Massy Ferguson's........
