That's a heck of a project you got going. Looking good 👍 I'm in the process of building a new TA performance aluminum v6 block w/se heads rjc intercooler 5inch downpipe w/4inch exhaust e85 72/70 precision turbo Janis transmission ptc3500 converter
Excellent job.. I'm doing a frame off restoration on my 85 GN T-Top. You gave a few new ideas with the rack & pinion. Also with some of the frame mods!
Awesomeness 👍😎 I’m surprised you left that little bit of the original frame Fuuk it just fab that too Complete tubular Can’t wait to see this bad bitch done 😎😎😎
You just brought up something I never even thought about. Im building a turbo ls 85 regal. Is a flex fuel set up but it's gonna primarily run on 85. If you build anything with a 10-15 gallon tank on alcohol you better stay close to the gas station lol. I never thought about the 40% difference in fuel volume. Looks like 20 gal cell it is.
Might wanna check out Double A Performance or Innovative Racecraft if your wanting to cut some stuff off the front frame for more room and weight saving including a Rack….. Youll like their products!!
Yes I checked out innovative and pts fab front kit but I didn’t want to chop the front frame off. So my chassis guy ended up cutting the crossmember. I want to put my original front end on without issues. I am going to put a tubular core support though. Thanks Mario
Those are 22x12 weld lagauna wheels for street driving. The fronts are 20x5 I will post a video this week on an update. For the track I’ll be using a 15x12 on drag radial or 28. Not sure on that yet. My local track doesn’t do a good job prepping. Thanks
Yup that’s why I went to an actual chassis shop. I wanted the frame done right. I told my chassis builder to make it stout for power. I did question him on the rear but he assured me it’s going to be good.

You got some goodies there my friend. Thank you.
Dam man! If I build another all this will be a must! Can't wait to see the rest of it!
Thanks. Lot of work.

Thanks!! Yeah I know. That’s how the chassis builder did it 🤷♂️. I’ve seen several frames the same way so I’m guessing there’s something to it.
Looking good man. Keep up the great work!!!!!
Thank you!!!

Thank you!! Street setup are 22x12 rear 20x5.5 front. I’m looking into 15x12 for the rear for the track.

Frames definitely a huge weak point in the whole car even with stock engine.
