@keisha I have a question about the Halle being perfect for Ariel. I had an idea for the video that I would love to run by you. Is an IG DM a good way to reach you?
You need to react to Mariah Carey's song "Bliss" it's just whistle city and she uses this falsetto sounding whistle sensual thing for the song it's just mind blowing what they both can do in whistle register
THANY YOU SO MUCH!!!! No one believes me when I try to say she uses quite a bit of Auto-Tune and things alike on her songs. She's been very vocal about using it and the different things she has tried for example look up her videos where she used auto-tune gloves. It's pretty neat!
That is something that everyone knows and Ariana herself does not hide, she has videos of her in the studio and it can be heard clearly when she speaks like in "positions", in many of her songs she uses autotune, not because she can't sing without it she has sing without it many other songs and other live performances. It is just a style choice, she specifically wants it to be heard like this, autotune is nothing more than just another work tool.
yesss ppl also dont know the difference btwn autotune and a vocal editor like melodyne. most ppl think autotune is what melodyne is. autotune is like a filter whereas melodyne is changing the notes individually. i also love the gloves for why try
That does make sense, but I'd have to find an academic paper on it just to be sure. I try my best to be exact with my information. It's probably over kill, but I just find so much misinformation online. I'd rather not contribute to that.
I hate to ask this, but is there a time stamp for what you're mentioning? I would love to know precisely where this is so I can improve my delivery/knowledge.
@@LesageSinging she was using it since 2018 I think in her song god is woman the high F#5 she adding rasp ther and in her last vevo performance like my hair pov and safety net but she didn't use it of the table live with the weeknd

i started watching your reaction, then quit cause I enjoyed it and actually wanted to listen to the song entirely and immedietly came back after hearing the whistle the fuck how do you even make full words in that register that can actually be understood.. Mumble rappers should watch this and feel VERY ashamed
Auto-tune gets a bad rap I think. It's not this thing you slap on a bad performance and all the sudden it sounds good. Also, you just don't get that Tpain sound without aggressive settings. I use auto-tune as an opera singer to gently tighten up sustained notes and also for the shimmery quality it gives vocals.
@@LesageSinging Oh yeah I get what you're saying, I just wanna emphasize that part cause some fans gets so pressed when someone say their faves uses auto tune (which is completely normal). You can clearly hear it when she sing in head voice cause the smooth vocals get textured( you get what I mean?) Hehehe sorry I'm too talkative. Have a nice day😊
No need to apologise, I greatly appreciate the clarity and I'm glad we are on the same page. It's very true that folks get way too incensed. I am glad you are out there speaking truth.
Great reaction BUT Ariana does not use autotune at all and what u say about it does not make sense. There is no robotic sound on it so idk what u hear lmao
On all of these vevo live performances there was auto tune and that’s not a bad thing. We all know she doesn’t need it it was probably just a stylistic choice like he said.
@@Jacobmsan it’s very clear in the beginning of this performance, if you’re not trained to hear it then you would think she has none but it’s quite obvious otherwise. As I’ve already said it doesn’t matter as she’s a killer vocalist without it but there’s no need to lie about it, no one is that cent perfect without auto tune.
"I'm chronically caucasian" 🤣 🤣 you're too funny

I was told that the vocal cords are so tight that they make a high pitch whistle sound but idk if that's true kinda like whistling with your mouth

15:16 actually it’s the backtrack that is her whistle. listen to the studio version and she harmonizes with the horns lol
The way you explained it I think u r extremely experienced in vocals btw she's always on fire
The end is whistle register. Speaking in it very breathy.
Lesage, that's Flageolet, when you can use words in the whistle register ;)

its not autotune
