Thanks - worked for me only took me just over an hour, doesn't look as good as yours (screen still looks like it out slightly) but works!

If you get the screen with the front housing, the repair is easier. Without the front housing is cheaper though.

Depending on the type of in-display sensor it could be a couple of things. Either they didn't connect the sensor back to the board (if it's an optical reader), or the sensor on the new screen is faulty. I'm guessing it's the latter. The owner should warranty the screen.

Have you tried rescanning your fingerprint into the phone? That might work. I'll try to find the phone and parts to do a video! It's hard to find realme parts around here tho.

I replaced it with an oled. Most people don't know what oled is, they just call everything lcd lol. So I said lcd just to make it easier to understand.
@@JoeDoesStuff oh i was searching for a replacement screen on ebay and I just found "oled screen a50 (LCD)" so I gave up.. you're saying that those are oled?🤔 (around 50€)
If it says oled don't worry about it saying lcd also. They just add lcd to the title so it's searchable. Yes it will be an oled panel.
This phone cut the shit out me 😭 i was rushing to but after taking it apart and using two ebay 32 bucks a pop none samsung lcds i just took it to ubreakifix.
