I love lefty reels, no switching and why use a righty baitcaster if you don’t use a spinning reel with the handle on the same side! It’s easier for me to work lures with the rod in my right hand as well

I’ve fished with this reel this summer and I caught my PB bass.
Brah I have all anteras DoCs, Last year I was waiting list in two websites and got two of this 21 CDs, What I can say it impressed me as long time Antares DC user is; The 21 DC can cast the lighter lures way farther than another Antares DCs. Great reviews. Thanks

It’s a good reel for saltwater use. I prefer a smaller size and light weight reel.

It’s not heavy by any means. I just prefer smaller profile reels like BFS reels.
You’re going to make me break down and get a bfs soon. I just wish old 18 would make a ML Fast suppersor I could pair with my Coastal SV instead of the heavy TFO ML Fast I have now.
The medium or medium light Suppressor rod will work for what you are looking for.

That reel is not worth the money they asking for it I think the 2020 metanuim is better than that Antares dc it cosmetic that’s it
the Metanium is no slouch. You need to consider that this reel has different tech like the brand new DC system, whereas the 2020 Metanium does not have a DC.
Lol. When you cant afford the best and compare a mid teir to the top of the top. Antares DC is a whole nother beast. The metanium 2020 is a good reel but it lacks drag power and IPT soo bad. The resale value on those metanium is soo bad too.
