Just got the pro 4 for USD 200 here in India. This is an absolute star. Fabulous shoes. The best part about this is its stability because it’s wider at the mids. Bounce and roll is amazing. I also have alphafly 2 and this endorphin pro 4 is very much comparable to Alphafly 2. It’s stable just like Alphafly 2, great cushion, good bounce, very nice roll forward and great upper material. Well done Saucony.
Good morning. Brilliant comparison. I'm not a fast runner, I prefer the saucony endorphin speed 4 for the half marathon Madrid (2024, April, Spain). Like to Fordy. Have a great friday.
Any difference in toe box width between these 2? I have a wide-ish foot but just about managed to fit in to the Speed 3. I believe the Pro 3 was narrower. Thanks.
I dont need either since i`m a slowpoke… But i got Speed 4`s and compared to Novablast 3TR, my calves are not on fire. Dont know what it is, but other shoes (like clifton9) get a burning sensation in my calves when i start running that fades after 10-15min, but in Speed 4`s that sensation is absent
Speed 4 is heavier than speed 3, which is a big con for me. I don’t like Saucony’s approach to make the speed series an even more accessible daily trainer with every update when it used to be a fast and quirky shoe.
I loved my Speed 1/2 but disappointed with Speed 3. Initial reviews are indicating that Speed 4 is closer to 3 than 1/2. I am going to skip Speed 4. I don't need another daily trainer. I still have 2 Speed 2's still in box for use in 2024.
Not necessarily. You get a bit more from Pro even if your pace is slower than 8min/mile. If you can afford it and want to shave some more time get Pro.
Speed series was a game changer with regards to daily trainers that could also be used on race day.

Did you get it from the Amazon discount I saw earlier today ?
@@sujidharsugumaran2230 Amazon is having a good deal right now.

Hi Chris. Can you compare the Speed 4 to the Kinvara Pro please, especially for half marathon distance and easy runs.
From my perspective the big difference is that the speed has a structured/stable heel counter which gives the shoe much more stability than the pro 4.
The pro is also very, very stable though.
Just got the Pro 4 with your code. Was going to use my Pro 3’s for London, had them since summer 2022 though so something fresh might be good.
Pro 4 doesn't fit in with the rest of my rotation but Speed 4's will be coming my way at some point as I have had versions 1, 2 & 3 and love them all

The pro4 has plenty of space. I'm an 11.5 who sometimes needs wide or even to size up. Went true to size with the pro's and they have plenty of room.
Fit question - Which one has more room in the toebox?
(Between Speed 3 and Pro 3 I find Pro 3 has more room in the toebox).
Could you please do Pro 3 Vs Pro 4 🤔🤔
I'm getting both so I cant wait to have them
Love your clear reviews, and thanks for the start fitness code, nice 10% saving on a sale pair of Puma Deviate Nitros.
Just bought these on your review mate thanks.
you haven't been wrong yet mate!
Big fan of this style of review, Chris. Not everyone needs a carbon plated super shoe. Speed is much more catered towards us mere mortals.
Thank you just in time video
I just ordered speed 4s in India for about 157 USD in local currency after discount.
Did you get it from Amazon ?
Speed 4 stability wise? At this point I’m just thinking of going all Saucony, they just work. Tempus, speed, pro
I have the Pro 3 and they are fine for comfortable easy runs so presumably the Pro 4 is much firmer than the 3?

Is the Pro 4 difficult to do slower runs in? I understand the Pro 3 was more versatile, as you could run slower in it.
Also interested to know this
In his pro 4 review he went over this a little. Watch that video.

I ended up grabbing them both based off your videos 👌🏾
awesome!
@@FordyRuns Chris you mentioned 10k, half and full for the pro 4s. Would you say use speed 4s for 5k then ? Cheers mate
Definitely helpful as always Chris.
2:10. You referred to the Speed as the Pro 4 with nylon plate
Thanks for being critical
Race day pace under 8 min mile - Pro
Race day pace over 8 min mile - Speed. Fair ?

Would the speed 3's foam handle a marathon, specially for longer runner that take north of 3h?
Chris would you say the Adidas Adios Pro3 has a wider toebox then the Saucony Pro 3/4
Wider than EP3
The white and red ones
Where can I get these with a discount? 😏😏
Great video 👍🏼
La parte superior es de calidad, pera la media suela está muy lejos del Lightstrike Pro de Adidas o el zoomx de Nike
I'm going for both if my wallet allow me :D
Got discount , and tax free to saudi arabia , end up paying 130£ Bloody bargain😂
