Im glad i stumbled up on this video i just got a honda fourtrax 300 4x4 and need to replace cv axles and ive never owned a 4x4 so im glad i have a little bit of knowledge about it now

@@SomeDamnfoolsAtv update ive broke 2 ratchet straps but were getting there
@@austinpennington3685 try with the ratchet strap setup like I had...yank a couple times...spin the axle cup by hand until knot is on opposite side...then pull from there.
If you don't understand what I'm saying...I will give you my number and explain it over the phone

Will a 40% gear reduction pull a 29.5in outlaw 3 on a Honda 300?
Yessir I believe so! Definitely will pull outlaw 1... can't say for certain how well it will pull the ol2s

@@SomeDamnfoolsAtv where’d you find new stock axles!? All I can find is stuff from east lake axle. A little skeptical about using them for my bike trying to spin 28” outlaws. Read nothing but mixed reviews
Do you have to drain the oil out of the diff?
No sir...the oil shouldn't be that high up in the diff... unless it's been overfilled or has a blown seal
