Is that bad? I feel like they took all the actually good things about the gt and put it in a XR form factor. Definitely lighter than gt, idk if it's as light as an original XR. And I kinda get how no XR parts fitting is kinda a bummer but the fact gt parts fit like the footpads, charger, gtv kit make it worth it to me.
Unless I buy a used Onewheel and modify it, I will not give FM any of my $. I love my original XR 4208 still going strong. The classic looks cool, but it's no XR.. You Rock Peter!
Thanks for sharing. The XR Classic is not an XR (nothing is interchangeable). They probably did this due to all of the competition in the market for XR parts. Cheers!
Peter help me out here, was just out riding my x10 Slick BTG board on some trails testing different tire pressures, was test 12psi and i had a steep hill i was descending with some loose bigger rocks and a slanted rock, prolly 3-4inch long by 1.5in or so thick at thickes point, wedged itself between the tire and the board, ofcourse tire tried to keep turning but it sucked the rock farther in until i went flying lol luckily i wasnt going fast down this hill. Was I unlucky? Combination of the tail being low going slow down a hill so when rock came off the tire it had nowhere to go? What do you guys think? Ever had this happen to you guys? Thanks in advance!
@GPeter7 so you think it's just unlucky? Nothing to do with me testing 2 psi lower than I normally ride trails at which is 14psi? I guess if you think about it, between going down a steep hill which means being leaned back to touching tail basically, and also having angle rails(allows even more angle), the distance between the spot on the tire your riding on and the opening between the board and the tire is very small, a rock coming off the tire doesn't have to travel much at all to find its way in there. I see all these crazy riders going down these insane trails with loose rocks everywhere and there dragging tail trying to slow down as much as possible.....how does this not happen to them all the time? Hmmmm I don't get it, thanks for the help Peter and any more insight is greatly welcomed, glad to know I'm not alone!
@tags42 I haven't tried it yet, but I know from other riders, it will give you a more comfortable ride and 10 to 15% of more torque with an N52 magnet.

@SaiyanEuc Not at all, but in my opinion, the name should be something with GT, due to the whole board is based on the GT and not on XR

I did have similar situation, a big rock stuck between frame and tire, I did have to deflate tire to remove it.

That exactly what I stated in my video, and it's not only controller, the whole XR Classic it's based on the GT
